EpiQuest

If I never find them, I can't fix them, and not everything I tested. I tested 95% of the game, but its a big game for something that took 5 weeks.

EpiQuest

Either do I, but I know how you get them :-) ok blog away. Also a more important thing is being back on the front page with a new download. That says more than a blog I think. Blog time....

EpiQuest

I figure there's a lot of blogs right now. Also how did my M points go down? Strange.

What Videogames Are You Playing Right Now?

Depending on what game you're playing its... ARIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Balance currency and items with dungeon crawlers? Must they really have either a town or a merchant?

Castle -> Town -> Dungeon -> Town -> Dungeon -> Castle -> Town -> Dungeon -> Town -> Dungeon -> Castle -> Town -> Dungeon -> Town -> Dungeon -> Castle -> Town -> Dungeon -> Town -> Dungeon ->

Some games literally follow this exact formula.

Why not have refugees hiding in the walls? Like they never left, but they just live there. I'm sure prisoners that escape prison do that. Why not have a mushroom village in a cavern? Imprisoned merchants that collect stuff? Theives that steal things from the guards.

Instead of gold, have trade value. There are scripts that let you set trade value so you can make it 100% instead of 50%.

One Night Review

Give a game a bad review, you'll be shoveling crap for a while.

Tell Craze: Why is your RPG Fun?

The reviews should explain why, if or why its not fun.

What avatar would be good for me?

Is that why you hide under a yellow mask? Is that Walter Skinner behind you?

Games and Why You Make Them

If he's a dbag and we're only talking about him, ban or suspend him.

Games and Why You Make Them

1. How long have you been making games?

--- 10 years? But not RPGs.

2. How often do you feel like not making games any more? What makes you keep doing it? (Anecdotes are good.)

--- having free time makes me make games. Keeping up my skills as a software designer keeps me making them.

3. What is your motivation for making games? (Do not be facile: You do NOT just do it because it is fun. Lots of other things are fun, and less work, and you could be doing them instead. So fun is part of it, but it's not the whole reason.)

--- motivation??? having free time and I'd rather make games than play them.
