SUNFLOWERGAMES'S PROFILE
I first got interested in RPG Maker after watching X-Play do a review of RPG Maker for the Play Station. Years later I found RPG Maker VX Ace and decided to buy it. My first RPG Maker game, Dragon Lancer, was approved by Deckiller and became available to download on January 15, 2013.
Game / Engine Count:
RPG Maker VX Ace = 12
Visual Novel Maker = 3
RPG Maker MV = 2
Ren'Py = 2

2021 Misaos - Thoughts, Ideas, Plans
author=kentona
Unless anyone else wants to be subject to $20k lawsuit threats I am nominally in charge of RMN. Liberty runs the site day to day.
You can send the threats to me, being in Taiwan makes me relatively immune to that sort of thing.
And if anyone has too much on their plate, in terms of reviewing submissions, I'm sure there's some long time users who would have no issue helping with that.
2021 Misaos - Thoughts, Ideas, Plans
Since Liberty doesn't like my idea about changing the dates, and it was just an idea...
Why are their no achievements for the Misaos? Not just for winning one, but perhaps you can get one for nominating in each category and voting as well. People are really motivated by tangible rewards. (I actually think we should backroll this too, so that previous years winners can also get achievements.)
2021 Misaos - Thoughts, Ideas, Plans
I heard a lot about the problem with everything being during the holidays, but who says that the awards have to be given out yearly or on certain dates.
Currently our time frame is Jan-Dec.
But could it be changed to example: August2021-July2022 if you want to keep a full year.
Or you could hold 2 awards per year.
January - June
July - December
[RMVX ACE] [RMXP] [RM2K3] [RM2K] Play RPGMaker games on Raspberry Pi
For people who have no idea what that is....
The Raspberry Pi is a low cost, credit-card sized computer that plugs into a computer monitor or TV, and uses a standard keyboard and mouse. It is a capable little device that enables people of all ages to explore computing, and to learn how to program in languages like Scratch and Python.
Melbourne Asian Girls looks very promising too.
Not sure how its related.
RPG Maker games obscurity iceberg
Interestingly enough you ignore a whole category of games that could be at the top end of the iceberg. There's a whole slew of adult only games on Steam, and while not all of them have high numbers, there are quite a few that are really famous.
[Poll] Sub Vs. Dub
If you're a fan of Yu-Gi-Oh!, you can see here, just in the first episode the difference between the versions. Here you can see how Exodia gets censored because of the pentagram.
I'm guessing most people here watched the English version though. That's usually the case with older anime. And you sort of become attached to some of the things in the dubbed version.
[Poll] Sub Vs. Dub
Hello, men of "culture." It's time for the all time anime debate of all time.
Which is the best way to watch anime = sub or dub
Sub = Watching the original Japanese anime with English subtitles.
+No cut content.
-You have to read.
Dub = Watching the English translation.
+You don't have to read.
-Can sometimes be censored / cut content, but....
+Can add additional content.
-Voice acting can be terrible.
Example:
Sailor Moon (opening)
Japanese
English
What's the population of people who are into rpg maker?
The Steam charts can give you daily inside into the number of players:

[UNITY] [REQUEST][PAID] Pixel Artist for Map Sprites
I like how you have a lot of detail about what you want, it's far better than a lot of other posts here on RMN. My concern here is that you provide so many links over a really long post. I would try to just include the critical details and the link of what the final product would look like. That link to the sprite that was finished was a really useful one.
2D Illustrator Needed
You should try Deviant Art if your serious about hiring an artist. There's a thread where you can post what you want and get tons of responses. But be prepared to pony up real money.
Like Sooz said above, the artwork for the character sets, etc... is a lot different than doing art for a character or a CG. But if you post in Deviant Art you'll get multiple replies with differing levels of skills.
Having hired artists in the past, I always try to be as detailed as possible about what I want the scene to look like (ie. for a background or CG), even going out of my way to google search samples from real life or other games.
