SUNFLOWERGAMES'S PROFILE
I first got interested in RPG Maker after watching X-Play do a review of RPG Maker for the Play Station. Years later I found RPG Maker VX Ace and decided to buy it. My first RPG Maker game, Dragon Lancer, was approved by Deckiller and became available to download on January 15, 2013.

How to Commission Artwork
author=MiniModele
Do you knoe if you can commission graphic design work on Artstation ?
I'm not familiar with that service. I have only used Deviant Art.
How to Commission Artwork
author=Antilurker77
I have commissioned a lot of personal non-game artwork but can vouch for what's said in this article.
One little tip that can help--sometimes it's easier to send stick figure drawings if you need a specific pose or structure. Sometimes it's easier than finding reference art.
Yeah, I have found that I can be searching the web for quite a while for some things. But I always try to be as clear as possible. This is from experience of just asking for a scene, but not being specific enough on location or pose. You really need to know what you want.
How to Commission Artwork
I can say that the most frustrating thing I have experienced is artists that have taken way too long to complete a commission. I had one guy on Deviant Art who was getting very popular at the time. So, he ended up taking many commission requests. He had like around 30... He was also running a Patreon, so had to do art for that. In the long run, a commission that could have been completes in a couple of weeks, took months. I had another artist who fell of his bike and broke his arm. He didn't really communicate what happened to him, so it was a little annoying at the time.
I also have had a couple really profession artists. They communicate well and do work within a reasonable amount of time. The artist I had work on my backgrounds in 2 of my VNs is one of the best people I have ever worked with. And the person I'm currently working with on sprites is also very good.
Bad artwork. I think that's subjective and how you go into commissioning artwork. You can't expect the artist to design an image in your head exactly as that. You are taking on the artists style and skill when you do this. I expect the artist will have their own take of what the art should look like. You really got to be okay with that. In most circumstances I have been very pleased with the commissions I have received. It's really important that the person you hire has a large gallery. You need to look at a lot of art and decide if this is the right person for you.
In total I have hired 5 different artists (Each artist worked on at least 4 commissions or more), and I would say I would hire 2 of those artists again. What does that mean about the other 3? Well some of that comes down to some of their professional behavior, or other reasons.
I hope this was helpful.
Visual Novel Maker - Final Review
I bought a nice pre-made UI for Ren'Py. It includes a lot of nice features. The support for the engine, the scripts /resources, it just can never be matched.

Ren'Py also runs on Linux and other platforms !
I guess that means you can download Ren'Py onto a Steam Deck and make a game with it in portable mode?????????????
Bullet hell with an RPG engine – Mission Impossible?
No Gold for Brigands has a shooting mini game.
It's not a bullet hell, but the mini game could possibly be made into one.
I can't remember what script I used though?????

@StudioDaeera = I only see 1 game on your user profile? Do you have another account that you are talking about with the game you're referring to. (ie. The one that I did a video for.)
Is VR Killing the JRPG?
I don't really see VR becoming more than a niche thing at the moment.
The technology just isn't there.
Action RPGs should be no problem to implement in the future.
Truned based and strategy RPGs... Well I could see some ways to implement this...
You and the enemy can still take turns. But you need to wait. When it's your turn you can move forward, but when it's not you're stuck in place. I'm not really sure this genre will work in VR very well. Luckily, even with new technology, outdate games from the Atari / NES are even still a thing. I don't think JRPGs need to worry about people forgetting about the console generation.
Note my idea of advance VR is something akin to the Star Treck holodeck.
