I want just a few rules in place for poeple who get my game. There is not many so don't worry!
1: NO blood and gore!
2: No cussing/bad words!
1.No one will know if it's your game or not, we will be assigned games anonymously. 2.We aren't allowed to set rules For where People can take our games:
author=Teh Evant PagieThey can take it wherever they want, for example, if I made serious story about pain and loss, And Then the next person turns it into a YTP MLG montage parody Mishmash, and there would be nothing I could, or would want, to do about it, it's kinda what the point of the event is...
In the spirit of the event, don't be a back-seat driver to the second creators. They can take the game where they like - that's half the fun of the event. In fact, let's just say that you keep your fingers out of the game pie after it gets handed over. Make it something of a surprise, eh?

Also I know for these kinds of things starting actual development early is a big no-no, but what about things like story planing and sprite creation? I was just wondering so I know what I can and can't do...

#WTFU(Where's the Fair Use?) Awareness thread

-As a private entity, YT is legally allowed to set whatever hosting policies it wants, regardless of freedoms granted in governmental spaces. Freedom of Speech applies strictly to public spaces, not private ones.
-I do not think that it is particularly profitable for YT to stop catering to ccrporate interests.
-Nostalgia Critic in particular has no room to complain about others monetizing his content or having weird, draconian rules, given the way he and his brother ran TGWTG.
-It is True that freedom of speech May be restricted by corporate entities, that IS One mistake the video makes. However Copyright law(And by extension Fair use) is independent of Freedom of Speech, as it is Law, Not a governmental Right. A private organization is STILL bound by law, as that is a restriction put on society by the government, Rights are a restriction put on the government by society, the difference is minute in theory, but has magnificent impact.
-(Ignoring my above statement of their requirement to follow Fair Use Laws)Is it more in their interest to alienate the userbase which generates their income? just food for thought here...
-Let's apply your logic to another instance to test it. Let's say a former thief's own legitimate property which,for the sake of argument, we are sure was obtained through legal means, was stolen, by your logic the fact that he stole in the past delegitimatizes his desire to be returned his property. Just Because he did the same this same thing in the past does NOT mean He has lost his legal rights, ESPECIALLY if he has seen the err of his ways.
I hope I did carry any spirit of spite with these responses, however I'm very Passionate about this subject, And I did not want to see the discussion of this die down before it even began, I hope you can understand

This thread is for discussion, and sharing of videos related to the Where's the Fair Use Movement. The Video above Gives all relevant details, but in essence it's A campaign to try Convince Youtube to refine it's ever-broken Copyright System to align with actual copyright law. So that online content creators, like reviewers and let's players, don't get screwed over like they have in the past.
Let's all band together and try to get this trending on Facebook, Twitter, and other reliant social media to spread the word, the internet stopped SOPA, Now we can fix something that has been broken for a while.
