In Search of Immortality Review

I agree with the gameplay score, but the humour was enjoyable.

Star Stealing Prince Review

You're the guy who tripped all over Ebert's law when commenting on said review; I don't think you're qualified to speak about review standards.

Neither are you, no doubts about that.
Writing a lot of reviews doesn't automatically make you a good reviewer, quality is better than quantity.

Anyway, I'm too busy to argue with someone like you, so I'm off.

Star Stealing Prince Review

Sated is the usual arrogant (as always).
Does he rant here because he wrote a similar (bad) review for Lunar Wish, and was criticized for the same thing?

The answer is probably "YES".
Don't expect too much from a guy that hates cats. -.-"

@Ronove:
Love the artwork. :)

@SorceressKyrsty:
Just don't write a review and don't downgrade a good game without a "valid reason" then, and if you haven't experience at all with rpgs (as he says).

Seriously, what are we talking about here? This is silly.

Star Stealing Prince Review

This review is bad, very bad, probably one of the worst I've ever read, and I've read several ones.
The reviewer doesn't talk about anything at all (besides difficulty) which is a shame, because this game certainly has more merits than flaws.

Since when a game gets reviewed speaking only about its difficulty?
Are we joking here or what? This is beyond ridiculous.

Difficulty is subjective because it depends on your experience in playing games, so you can't base a review only about this argument.
----
"From my point of view (and also that of many others), the game itself isn't that hard at all."

Don't want to sound harsh (but I will say it anyway), "if you're a noob at rpgs and you can't even play an RM game then you should also avoid to review it."

Reviews rushed and done by frustrated haters or incompetents players like this one gave me some nerves.

Sorry for the outburst but some things "need" to be said.

Lunar Wish: Orbs of Fate Review

Say what you want, but the fact remains, this is definitely not a game that deserves a score so low, the creator has certainly put a lot of effort and work on this, and demoralizing him this way just doesn't seem rightful.

If this game deserves an 1.5 out of 5 then all the garbage that I see everyday (especially most of the commercial RM stuff) would deserve a score with negative numbers? Are we kidding here or what? This is utterly ridiculous.

Lunar Wish: Orbs of Fate Review

This is "how a review should be done", pointing up every single aspect of the game.
Good work.

Lunar Wish: Orbs of Fate Review

Who sayed it's necessary to be a top chef?
But ""to criticize storytelling"" you must have at least a minimal clue about what that aspect really is, and as you pointed in your profile, your weakness is mainly storytelling.

Seriously, this is getting childish now.

Lunar Wish: Orbs of Fate Review

You talk about clichè storylines and character design Sated, and then (from your profile) you're the first one to admit that you are the worst storyteller and character designer ever.

You can't write a good review based on characterization if you have no idea of what characterization really is (it's something that you can't seem to do right, then your point of view may be somehow twisted).

So now what are we discussing here?. I'm sorry but this review doesn't make any sense. This still looks like an "I don't like it that's why it sucks" more than a real and full review.

Lunar Wish: Orbs of Fate Review

3 out of 10?
Man you can't be serious, and you gave this vote only because you don't like the character design and the story? What about the sound, the graphic, the mapping and the gameplay?

You can't downrate a game this way without giving all these valid points, this seems to be more personal preference than a real review.
At worst, this game deserves a 6.
