What are you thinking about? (game development edition)
I am wanting to create a game in the same vein of the old Lunar JRPGs on the PSX. I really fell in love with SSS and Eternal Blue Complete. And it was obe of my dreams to make something just like it, especially after the affront to it's fan that Dragon Song was. I felt the series deserved a much better send off than that steaming, stinking, greasy, pile of bull crap... :|

My fan game is really just practice for what I would like to one day try to do- make my own DOG in the same vein as the old Lunar series, like either an actual sequel or just a better version of Dragon Song or a different prequel story... because Dragon Song was just complete and utter BULLOCKS! >:( The series and it's fans deserved a much better closing than that...

One: it's a visual novel and a 3D Dungeon Crawl, that doesn't have sprites. Two: O I don't have the knowledge or experience or engine/tools to do 3D/First Person View games.
Three: I actually am using CG from the game for certain aspects and GO sequences- but I have enemies taken from other sources and am wanting GO CG for some of it as well. And I also want this to be somewhat different from the original.
Also, IMHO anyway, Lightning Warrior Raidy 1&2 Are more of an actual game than most visual novels I've played. You're actually going around a dungeon, getting in battles, visiting shops and stuff rather than just picking choice A B or C in order to see hentai.

Hello. I am in the middle of working on a Lightning Warrior Raidy fan ERPG. I already have a good portion of the world planned out and done. I have done some sprite work of my own for the main PCs and some NPCs but I need help in getting some key characters done that GCH doesn't have parts in the library to make them look right. I will include some pics of the characters I need and the sprites I have already done, so you know the style I have in mind. As the title says I sadly cant offer any money for commissions due to my current living situation. But if there any non paid spriters who need experience or wouldnt mind taking on the job I would be very grateful. Thanks.

If you have steam and can hold out for 15 bucks I would recommend game character hub. It has a lot of parts and resources for making sprites built into it as well as a good workshop community on steam with lots of good extra parts for making custom sprites. It's what I'm using for my own sprites in my fan game. :-)
Secret Door and Switch

I am trying to get an event to work where you get a prompt to investigate a wall when you get in front of it. When you investigate you find a secret switch you can push. When you push it a secret door opens leading to a prison map/screen. I have tried several things and can't seem to get it to work right. I'll put up some images of the screens and scripts to let you know what i have in mind better.
The event is meant to be in the upper right corner of the map, leading to upper left corner of the jail, facing down. When you click the button you get a sound effect and a message saying you hear the slide revealing either a door or an opening to the jail. Thanks in advance for any help you can offer. :)
