I'm working on a fan game based off of the Eroge Lightning Warrior Raidy and Viper RSR. I have my world about 25-50% finished and have finished a custom sprite of Raidy and am working on one of Cala. Once I have my game world and events done, I will work on npcs and the story. I need some custom lingerie underwear icons/sprites for items in game and a cg artist for GO and special cutscenes.

Best Game Dev Engine for newbie/aspiring game designers

What is the best program and script for newbie game designers? I already have a copy of VX Ace on my laptop but have heard good things about MV and have thought about picking up a copy when I have the money to do so. I am most interested in doing RPGs. What are peoples's impressions, experiences and etc with different engines? VX, VXA, SMBX, GM and or Unity? What scripts have everyone found to be the most versatile and or easy for beginners to use? Thank you to all who respond in advance. :D

New game development program

Has anybody else seen ads on YouTube about a new game development program. I think it's called Sandbox or ToyBox or "something"box. I can't recall the correct name off the top of my head sadly. But I was wondering if anyone else has seen the ads and what they think about it or if they have used it.

A collaborative Link game in SMBX

Is anyone familiar with Zelda Classic/ Zquest? I am wanting to do my own type of game with it but I find it just as if not more so confusing than trying to handle XAS, which is what im currently trying to get the hang of.

Lunar inspired battle system/ LoZ syled combat

I've DLed XAS and installed in a new game. Started a tutorial. Unfortunately there aren't a whole lot of them on the internet. So I've just made a simple tutorial project till I get the hang of everything else.

Working hard on my game, Legend of Garm. Finished putting the frame work for Spirit Temple, the first dungeons, and put up a tough overworld map of New Hyrule. (Though the tiny overworld sprite script i dled doesnt seem to be working)

Well, thats the main characters (last) name, GaRm. Rohän Garm. And i havent decided on the title just yet. :/

I was wondering if anyone here has managed to create a battle system similar to the one seen in the PS1 Lunar series of games or not; or if it would be possible to create one in VX Ace or not? Also would it be feasible to design a Classic Zelda or Link to the Past styled combat system where you go around attacking enemies one at a time without going to a combat/batle screen?
