Super Smash Bros for WiiU
You win. It was mostly good games(the very first game seemed like it was the best one) but it kept fluctuating for me :/ My internet speed is crap. I had to stop caring because the harder I tried to play, the more inputs I was losing. I wanted to rage quit around the midway point because my character was like, not doing the move then just walking off the stage and grabbing the ledge haha When I did less, I did better. Plus random lag spikes, which you probably didn't experience. That's the worst part, I get lag but the other guy says it's fine. Then it seems like I'm making excuses :/ I swear I'm not!
Man, Wii Fit is quite lame to play against ESPECIALLY on wifi. That projectile on wifi is basically cheating x.x And always running away. I know it works out most of the time but it's not much fun actually countering it - by doing the same thing haha
Some of those header spikes though haha ouch. Wii Fit is so hard to leaf shield gimp in any meaningful way. But I had to keep trying. And the general ledge battling was really fun!
I dunno, I really enjoy playing against you but it's just too rage inducing. Because we're so close in skill but I can't give my best online. Seems like most of the time I do some cool shit against you, then a wrong move comes out and you always manage to capitalize on it. My moves are so laggy that when the wrong one comes out, I'm fucked. Not to say you didn't get the best of me the rest of the time.
Let's not play again until I get better internet. Which should be in a few months when I move into town. I think I can get the fiber optic 1 gigabit connection. At least then I wouldn't have doubts. I might as well retire the Wii U until then anyways. I can't go to locals anymore before of my work anyways, so my smash life is over for now T.T

Super Smash Bros for WiiU
author=kentonaFixed, and yeah I wouldn't be surprised.
maybe Nintendo forgot to payComcastBell for fast lane access this month
I'm just finished up with the ship now(things got really delayed due to weather), sending off an email, then I'm heading home. I'll PM you in about 1 hour.

XD You're not exactly missing much, but I guess if there's one episode of Murder She Wrote I recommend it would be the one my avatar comes from, where she uses dodgy 90s virtual reality (which just looks a lot like Night Trap)
Hey now, I've been watching a lot of episodes and there's some good stuff in there! I'm still waiting for that VR episode to come on the dish *sigh*
For me though it is less "where will I be in x years" than "must make stuff before I die" haha
Orbo is clearly going to be your magnum opus.

author=zDSWhen I scrolled up really fast and saw your name and avatar, I though for a second she was posting from beyond the grave.
can i be an aurora borealis in the sky saying "u steam a good ham"
also I assure people I had literally no clue who this YDS was before I made my name ):
author=MarrendThat's the game, Americana Dawn, I'll have to search it.
I seem to recall a lot of hype about Eyes Without A Face and... I think it was Americana Dawn? Whatever that game was that used Hetalia - Axis Powers as inspiration. I'm fairly certain YDS moved to the now-defunct Meridian Dance. Where they've gone from there, I don't know.
(no updates since Feb of this year, where she says a lot of bad life stuff happened.)
Someone should do a "Where are they now?" type show, like Oprah xD
Net Neutrality FCC Vote
author=suzy_cheesedreamsI was mostly being sarcastic, and you probably guessed as much, but my underlying feeling is that even in most of the good things on the internet you have bad seeping in. Trolls, people aggressively pushing their opinions and agendas, fucking ad's, MEME'S EVERYWHERE, banality(although that is subjective), the way it's shaping our society in a negative way. When I balance the good and the bad, I feel it comes out bad.author=InfectionFilesAwesome things about the internet I can think of off-hand are the number of free resources for research/study & that the internet is a way for different groups of marginalized people who are discriminated against to find and support each other, & publish news and analysis that is not commonly, if at all, available in mainstream media.author=Link_2112The internet isn't what it used to be and I think a lot of us wouldn't see a difference.
I'm kinda over the internet anyways. It's not that great xD
As an example, yes marginalized groups now have access to each other, but the people who want to persecute those groups now have access to ruin their lives in ways that weren't possible before. Many people's lives are literally ruined by the internet. Doxxing and such and so-forth.
Most people fight to make it a better place because it has such important uses, but I choose to be 'over it'. If the internet suddenly stopped working I wouldn't break down. Although I would miss talking to a few long distance friends :P and work would be harder. Maybe out of the ashes a new internet would arise! Cause we usually learn from mistakes, right?
If the internet suddenly became this fascist pay-to-win environment, it wouldn't affect me very much. The only real need I have for internet is email and chatting, neither of which requires speed and isn't going to get blocked for dumb reasons(even if it does, there are other means of communication for that). Everything else, I would probably just give up on or deal with the speed.
The internet itself is an amazing tool, but like everything else in society it gets warped. Things tend to keep getting worse and not better, and I may be jaded beyond salvation haha I grew up without the internet, and I would survive without it. I can imagine this being more important to the slightly younger generation.
I hope it turns out well though, I am FOR neutrality. Just in case that wasn't coming across heh

author=InfectionFilesThe Trump derailing comment? I didn't direct anything at you, it was someone on page 1.
Even if that was at me

I would think it's, in part, something like - a list of websites pay for faster access, and most everything else gets slower? Because it needs to be slow for the paid sites to appear faster? I dunno.
Based on the example Kentona provided, yep, an ISP can block sites for it's own subscribers. Maybe if Bell has shares in Nintendo and they see this site as infringing on copyright and hurting profits(pfft), they could decide to block access. That would suck.
Then we have to self censor or get blocked, and naturally it leads to the whole world being inhabited by Muslims.
