I'm trying to play this game in fullscreen, but when I go into options, I can't get out! It's telling me to press space or enter to accept and quit, but this just toggles whatever is selected on/off.

author=Max McGee link=topic=3684.msg73735#msg73735 date=1241643911It's worth noting that letting the player walk a few steps after an intro only to get slapped with another huge cutscene is probably not a good idea. Countless commercial games have done this and it annoys me to no end.
Whatever you can do to deliver gameplay in five minutes or less...do it.

Where to find "Unique" game music...
If you don't want to use copyrighted music and you don't mind using MP3s, then Newgrounds' audio portal is a good place to start your search. Anything posted there is free to use (the licensing terms show up on every song's page), and there are plenty of artists who make music specifically for games. Like this guy.
