TYRANOS'S PROFILE
Tyranos

My name is Richard Allen Torruellas and I love to play games. I also like to do many other things but mostly it's games for me. To me a game has to be fun and some are fun while remaining buggy pieces of crap.
Games inspire a lot of what I do and they make me feel like I get to know the person who made them a little bit more.

Nsala Sunset
Looking forward to this. I'm currently uploading a buttload of Liberation videos since I finally encoded them without breaking them. Ah the modern age where you need 12 different programs for recording, editing, and encoding video files. Anyways Pepper that Angus for some crazy amount of Nsala Liberation uploads but I hope you watch the one where I talk about Mancala for a little bit, to me it's the coolest episode in the bunch. I tried not to derail the game and go into massive detail about the game but just so you have an idea of how much I know about that game from when I was kid here's a list of cool variants.
Bao la Kiswahili – widespread along the east coast of Africa, and an integral part of Swahili culture.
Congkak – close variants in South Asia from the Maldives to the Philippines, known by many different names (e.g. Dakon, Ohvalhu, Sungka
Kalah – a modern game played mostly in the USA (where it is simply known as "Mancala") and Europe
Oware (awalé, awélé) – close variants are played in the Caribbean, throughout western Africa, and in immigrant communities in North America and Europe
Toguz korgool or Toguz kumalak – played in Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan, where it is considered superior to chess.
I think playing this growing up made me as calculating as I am when I play MtG or other card games. It's an easy way to teach basic strategy to children if you look closely.

Touhou Fantasy
Just so you know Touhou is still on my to do list. I think I wanted to clear up the other requests first though due to Touhou being a 30+ hour game potentially. That and I had to do some extra work to make it play and not crash, so yeah it's not getting off easily. I'll probably actually start it soon and do it in between games if I can. But now that I finished Lakria Legends and We The People it's time.
Speaking of I want music for this. Do I make a Music folder and put all the music packs contents in it or do I extract the music packs into their own folders and place those in the Touhou folder on it's own?

Lakria Legends
This game needs to be finished. I was actually disappointed that my play was over at the ship. Plus looking at screenshots of a skill system only makes me want it more. Anyways I've uploaded the whole thing and plan on submitting the last of it. It's a hell of a game and the only thing stopping it from being for sale on steam or some other platform is literally that the graphics and audio would cause copyright concerns. This was a very nice game and I hope it gets an artist to make custom assets for it.
Starless Umbra
Forever's End
I loved this game because the bad guy was named Richard. Like me. And he was king. No but seriously that was kind of cool outside of the fun I had playing the game itself.
Forever's End
Yeah I can't wait for a second game from you myself. The difficulty is probably an easy fix but again I have yet to play a challenging game since about 98 or so. Still an Ironman Mode would be awesome just reduce the players stats to like 10% or something XD.
A BLURRED LINE v2.1
This game is still kicking around huh? Amazing and it sometimes makes me wonder is Lys didn't intentionally promise and not deliver Line's End. If you think about it this game to RMN is like Star Wars to Lucas Arts. Hell it's even got a "definitive" version as stated in the description. What are the odds he intended to never continue on the story because he couldn't versus the odds of him not continuing because of the inherent value of not doing so? I mean I see this game on EVERY site with RPG Maker games for DL on it and people are so unwilling to let it die (kind of like my semi necro post right now) and be lost in obscurity.
Forever's End
This was amazing and you know what? I just got done with it again earlier today and I do think I should raise the rating now. I don't even know where to begin my re-review. This definitely is improved on since my last play. Less bugs even and that's another thing I liked playing it AGAIN. What is this? The seventh time?
Forever's End
Well this recent playthrough just turned to shit. A boss cannot be hurt and creatures no longer can be captured. So I started over and am back where I was at. Anyways I have no idea what caused that bug but that was the first time it happened and the last. My attacks healed HP and MP to foes and party members alike and I figured out how to do it.
So has anyone seen Freakazoid? Aside from being the greatest show ever, there was a scene in the opening where hitting a certain sequence of numbers and letters causes you to get sucked into cyber space and turn into a freak. Where am I going with this? Well you won't get teleported anywhere but if you want to see something cool hit the number 1 to activate the objective text box while hitting spacebar in front and facing a save point and hitting the X key to bring up the menu all at the same time. I can't say it will work 100% but sometimes it bugs out the game and makes you heal instead of hurt and hurt instead of heal! At least on this save it is. Of course I didn't get the crash at the specified point that always seems to hit me so that could also be part of it. Could also be from repeated plays and/or lots of save games. Not sure but it's interesting to say the least. Broken code maybe?

Forever's End
I have made 3 playthroughs already Nico and I thought I should let you know you have a wall of data coming up by next Friday.
1st play - I focused on every word used and the construction of sentences. I have a rather lengthy document on sentences that should change to make more sense or just make sense at all. I also have a small section on recommendations to the writing though I already went over that with you earlier and you said that writing was not your strong point. Anyways more on this in PM.
2nd play - I focused entirely on mapping here. Dude I found very little map bugs with most being on the forest map. Not bad Nico and LWG. I seriously tried hard to screw the game up somehow with this but to no avail. I mean you should have seen Demon Legacy or one of many other games I could cite that had loads of errors on mapping, but I won't cite any of them since those same game's creators are already here and can tell you themselves. Anyways more on this and links to the pics in PM.
3rd play - This playthrough was focused on finding balance issues.
On Friday next week you should have all my PMs as I should be done with my 9th and final play on that same day.
Just because they don't like your game the way it is now doesn't mean it's crap Nico. In fact couldn't we consider it worse to have no review then a bad one? Wouldn't that mean that the game wasn't even worth the time to criticize or offer feedback on? Like Demon Tower or Epic Monster Dungeon Explore 2? Who knows but as a long time game master for about 9 different tabletop games I can say that you will never satisfy everyone 100% with one game. Everyone is looking for something different in their entertainment. For some it's the drama and others the action.
