I was sort of thinking about how the Toronto Raptors won the NBA thing and I was like, can the most hated team in Canada win the cup this year? And the answer came back yes! Just think how hard it is for a Vancouver Canucks fan to pick the Leafs. The pain of watching them win the cup will be so painful...

Not as painful as inevitably hearing their rabid fans never shutting up about it. I don't mind the Leafs as a team, but they must have the most obnoxiously vocal and arrogant fanbase of any team in the NHL.

Really, seriously!?!?!?

(Lol, aren't fans the greatest?)

Yeah, it actually really upsets me that it caused him to take an indefinite leave of absence, and I won't be surprised if he gets traded now. I've followed Drouin and been a fan since his junior career with the Halifax Mooseheads before they won the Memorial Cup.

The Montreal fanbase is so toxic and bipolar. He hasn't been able to play at his 100% this season due to an injury from last year, but he was still helping tremendously on plays and had the most assists on the team for some time this season. The Habs subreddit would tear him apart after every game and say awful things about him. And then when he announced he is on indefinite leave and it was hinted at what the reason was, everyone was suddenly sympathetic and hoping he "gets well soon". Fucking two-faced fanbase, I hate them.
