QHeretic, damn son, I'm sorry that you had to endure all of that! I'm sure that, while those on the outside probably suspected your home life was probably not the greatest, I don't think any of us could have ever imagined it was anything like that. It's a shame that you had to cut her out of your life, but I can understand it since I did the same in my own life with my father some 15ish years ago.
Very eye-opening to hear your side of things, and very good to hear that you emerged for the better after going out on your own.
But all that aside, just very cool to see such an another old name wander into RMN to talk about the old days. It's a bit like if Don Miguel showed his face in 2020 or something, haha.
Also if you ever get the creative juices flowing again, or just feel like toiling with game making as an infrequent pastime, I'm sure we'd all love to have you around too!

This is the intro to Blackmoon Prophecy recreated in Penumbra Crystallis (Blackmoon Prophecy remade as an original game), which I am making in RPG Maker MV. Instead of being the intro, this will instead be a sequence that occurs about 60 minutes into the game.

Ha, yeah, had this happen to me recently because I was too stubborn to do backups since I never experienced any data loss in 20 years of using RPG Maker. RIP Blackmoon Prophecy III.

Yeah, that seems to be some kind of scripting issue that I'm unable to fix since:
A) I don't know RGSS
B) The battle system scripts are in Japanese

Oh wow, didn't expect to see this bumped. Some of the early comments did not age well at all, haha.
Great game though. It actually took me until this year to play it, and on Wii U since I don't have a Switch. I'm far from beating it and haven't played it in a while, but it really is loads of fun. Whenever I do load up the Wii U, I just get lost in exploring the world instead of progressing through the main story.
