Max has finished more games than most of us. (even if liking them is another matter)

I know, I'm just giving him shit

Imp“roved the Hud. How does it Looks?

I like that! It looks like an actual piece of technology... and it seems to fit pretty well with the overall graphical style. (That chest does not though. You want them to be visible, but its color palette is totally out of place.)

avatars

I really like to pick avatars that are weird or cool faces.

When I see someone with an "arrogant little shit" type avatar (sneering and the sort), I have a hard time taking what they say as anything worth reading, because unfortunately, that's most frequently true.

I totally have an arrogant little shit avatar that is sneering at you right now. It's really amusing to think that by the same logic when the above was my avatar, everything I said might have come off as drunk out of my mind XD

it's a shame such effort and presentation is being wasted on a fan game.

if only we could all have 10 fully-original projects cancelled/on hiatus

You really should do more customizing with the VX battle scene! There's no reason for the length of the monster names and the HP bars to not be exactly the same width (the HP bar should be the maximum width of an enemy name). Also get rid of the default colors - the orange->yellow bar gradient and the blue HP text. It's just "default default default" all over your otherwise extremely-customized game! It seems more like you should have some blood red HP bars with text in a grainy font or something...

Stomphoof, downloading scripts that can do the things you want is not too hard. You don't have to write scripts yourself. There are hundreds and hundreds of them out there that you can download and just plop into your game. I recommend Yanfly Melody as a starting point - it's a big collection of scripts that gives you a ton of extra customization. Just google for it, you'll find it. It can easily handle everything in your doc except possibly the shield bash skill.
Someone else pointed me to Yanfly, however I have no idea HOW to install such things. And there are alot of things that are a part of it >.>

Uhmmm, you just copy and paste the scripts into your script editor. (Download YEM as a 'game', open it up, and press F11)

The individual scripts of YEM all say what they DO at the top (Equipment Overhaul -> adds fancy options for equipment. New Battle Stats -> adds RES and DEX as stats). I would just install the ENTIRE THING and delete parts you don't want if you decide later on that you don't need them. Seriously, it's the best and easiest way to do it

Fixed that for ya! Lots of folks around who can help you figure out how to add in your own snippet for that. (It's best to look at your game design concepts, figure out what's going to take actual effort, and put the simple stuff in first. Since you're just learning the engine, and all.)

I was merely pointing out the "fact" that Craze was being hypocritical
did you read anything I typed. there is seriously nothing hypocritical about simply being gay and also discussing matters of sexuality.
author=Versalia
this would only matter if Craze was a ridiculously over-sexualized mega-muscle shining Herculean hunk and made games with men like that and then brought this up about females.
what are you trying to add to the conversation? are you casting aspersions on craze's opinions because of this perceived hypocrisy? because that's what it seems like, and if it is not your intent, you are saying literally nothing about the discussion one way or the other.

edit for size and obtuseness of audience

can we get back to discussing the issue at hand and not whether or not it is ironic or hypocritical for someone to be involved in the discussion at all?

Go Make me a Sandwich: Sexuality in Bayonetta (and other games)

I just don't see the point in bringing it up; it's a terrible non sequitur.

The fact that you may have had to defend yourself against people thinking you're wrong or silly at some point in the past has no bearing whatsoever on present conversation, especially because nobody is being directly attacked for personal beliefs. EVERYBODY in this thread has had to defend their personal beliefs/traits in some way, so it must be ironic for anybody who's posted here, right?

You are thinking about this as "you come from a sexual standpoint some people think is wrong, and are trying to say this other sexual standpoint is wrong. IRONY!!" but I am having trouble finding the irony. I think this would only matter if Craze was a ridiculously over-sexualized mega-muscle shining Herculean hunk and made games with men like that and then brought this up about females.

(You've had to use a shield before to block swords, right? But now you're using a sword. Ironyyyy. somehow)

Btw, trying to show people that what they like is wrong or silly is quite the irony coming from a homosexual.

hey do you know why that's a silly argument

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tu_quoque

maybe think before opening your mouth ever again.

Person A: I think this is wrong.
Person B: You are guilty of other things that I think are wrong.
Person A: You're right, obviously I have no grounds to speak on any topic whatsoever.
