But yes, you made a valid point. I've said it before and I will say it again: Not everybody has the skill to make their own graphics, no matter how hard they try. I will argue, however, that a game with original graphics, original music and <original everything> is PROBABLY going to be of better quality than one using mostly rips simply by virtue of the amount of time and effort someone has to pour into a project to produce that much original content - but not simply because of the inclusion of those things.

That's a little bit bright, and I think a little bit too big if it's supposed to be coming from that lantern. I know most people don't have the time/effort to individualize lighting effects for every map, but I would also take an Eraser tool at a very light transparency and make the light dimmer following the L and the top-right corner - light doesn't shine on top of and through walls. (I've set up a couple of generic lighting effects that can be used on a vertical or horizontal wall like this, so the light is only 'shining' one direction and not glowing backward through the wall).

-I feel The "Bless" skill is VERY underwhelming. Sure, I understanding the heal needs to be low, but seriously 5HP/2EN? lol what? And it's a flat amount to. As the monsters get stronger and stronger, that 5HP heal begins to feel alot more meaningless. Fortunately, I do like how it heals regardless if the characters takes damage from a hit or not.
It's not about healing. You do not get 'real' healing. Forget about healing. Bless is

While I do agree that a lot of reviewers are hypocritical about strategy in games, some games may even need balancing. I of course hate just button mashing the whole way through. But if EVERY normal battle is a super challenge of wits it will just get annoying. Most should just take no more than a single thought in my opinion.
