We're all amateurs, though. I mean a lot of us know WIP to varying degrees and each of us knows (on a person-to-person basis) how much his opinion means to us specifically, but who's to say his opinion is really more important than 'randomrpgplayer232's' in general just because he runs the website?

I don't mean that as a slight to WIP, I'm just saying that running or being on the staff of RM.net doesn't really make your insight any clearer, it just makes your voice louder.

This is exactly why I didn't put in staff reviews. I don't want to fester a culture where your name means more than your actions. A great example is Mewd. He seemingly came out of nowhere and is my favorite person on the forums that isn't me. People need to stop doubting others and just read their review/play their game/etc.

And for clarification, I'm not planning on "hiring" a staff to focus on content.

Ever notice how you can review a game even if it's not released? This might screw up the average rating of a game if overhyped abit.

A next page button, or moving the page number navigation of threads to the right is a lot more intuitive I think.

Also, the main page needs a main element, something for your eye to be drawn to. Right now its just a bunch of boring text news bites. I think there should be a spotlight or main news spot that had a graphic, which could either be a screenshot for a game or a nice headline image for the feature or whatever.

A new main page is going to be worked on. I'm not a huge fan of the current one. As well as a redesigned game page.

Just a quick update. The games list is now sortable by name and rating. In the future, expect sortings by download and status.

Also, the previous blurb about the new game panel stuff. That isn't in quite yet, as I want to finish off parts of it before it goes live.

We could add a favicon to the site (which I think someone brilliantly suggested some time ago ;D

Strangely enough, there was a favicon on here. Looks like something broke, though, so I'll check it out.

The invisible text is an IE6 bug called "Peekaboo". It's harder for me to diagnose it since none of my computers actually have IE6 anymore.
