WHEELMANZERO'S PROFILE

Just a guy who loves rpg's. Thanks to some serious encouragement from several new friends and the community at large, I was able to complete one of my own. Game making is my favorite hobby, so you can expect more games on the way. Play on fellow gamers, play on!

Khawla- It's a piece of cake. Just click the "Download Now" button at the top right corner of the screen. Your computer will download the file, which should look like a blue octagon. After the download finishes, click the octagon and the game's resources should be copied into a folder. Open that folder and click the little red dragon head, that'll start the game. If you need any more details, please let me know.

Sphere- Ah, that's not the first time I've heard that question. It's immensely flattering that people would consider something I made worthy of the steam marketplace, but turning this into something that could be sold commercially would be an absolute nightmare. I'd have to swap out pretty much all the resources; facesets, music, animations, scripts, the whole shebang. I didn't really limit myself when it came to using anything I could get my hands on, so if I were to go commercial I'd get my butt sued by at least 12 people.

Besides,I consider myself a hobbyist and reading statements like yours from players who are enjoying themselves is more than enough payment for all that hard work. Yes, I know that sounds like an incredibly cheesy line only a character from a hallmark channel movie would say, but it's how I feel.

You betcha there'll be more. I had a blog up detailing what'll be coming next, but it was replaced with the current blog after I had an emotional meltdown about having this game featured.

Basically, I'm going to finish a joint project I'm working on with a friend of mine, then I'm going to release an improved version of this game. It'll include several bug fixes and spelling revisions, as well as additional content such as new sidequests and scenarios. It will also include an entirely new campaign where you play through the story as the heroes. After that, it's on to the sequel, which I'm pretty excited to share with everyone.

Hedrick, Nedras, thanks for the kind words, hearing that people are having a good time always motivates me to work even harder. There'll be plenty more games coming from me, so I hope I can provide you with even more entertainment in the future.

I think I might have an idea. Some anti-viruses delete the game executable for some reason (it's the little dragon head. If you've downloaded any other rpg maker vx ace games, you can copy the dragon head from there and paste it into the project, that should get things up and running.

My anti-virus never had a problem with it, but I'm going to create a new executable for the game's next version to see if that doesn't fix the problem. Please let me know if you have any more issues.

Yyyyeah, mapping is definitely my weakest point. I used to be a lot worse at it, but I learned by analyzing the mapping in other rpg maker games. There's still plenty of room for improvement, but I'm hoping to get better as I go. Practice makes perfect as they say. Thanks for sharing, it's always encouraging to hear when someone is enjoying themselves. Now off with you! You've got a world to conquer and insects to crush!

Twenty one hours?! Wow, you must have done everything. Congratulations on beating the game, and thanks for playing! The next edition will include an entirely new campaign, so I hope you'll look forward to it.

Hey thanks Sphere! I wanted to build my own ideal game, using the elements I find most enjoyable in rpg's. I've always wanted to play as an evil villain trampling the forces of good with dark powers, so the game was built around that idea. Anyway, I hope you continue to enjoy being a terrible person!

I can answer that second one for you. Azrielle's theme is called "Nightmare Fiction II", from the Blazblue series. Thanks for the assist dasgibtesnet. Still can't afford to pay you though.

Skill Design - Forget mathematical balance, balance the feelings instead

This is a pretty interesting topic. Can you imagine what creating an animation like Knights of the Round in rpg maker would be like? I'm getting a headache just thinking about it. So...many...frames.

Wooden Ocean Progress

What? More content? Sheesh, I haven't even finished the previous update yet. The nerve of this guy.

You need to light each one of the torches in the fire maze before the door will open. There are 4 in all, and you'll hear the door open once you've lit the last one. It should be smooth sailing after that.
