The Working World
I do work study at school as a TA and then later as a Clerical Aide. It doesn't pay amazingly well, but hey! I save gas and time driving around from one place to another. Its a little frustrating though because some of the paperwork is so slow. Like, it takes me half a month to get my paycheck. Sometimes almost an entire month.
What comes to mind from the username above you?

Well, I was about to type up a response but it would be pretty much what ShadowText said. The "similarities" you describe are present in almost any type of "story" whether its literature or video game. I still do not see the blatant similarities between the two games other than incredibly vague plot devices that, again, are constantly used over in so many different mediums.
To the person whom I don't remember, I also don't see how that game was a "failure" in which FFX "saved."
