YEASTER'S PROFILE

Hi! Thank you for peeping at my profile.
I like making modern-themed games. My first game, Onyx, was made in 2006, when I was a senior in high school. So it's pretty ROUGH, but people seem to like it? Total Chaos is my personal favorite, but it has some, erm, issues, too. Mystery Man Zero is coming you guys, I haven't forgotten about it. A full-game will come out even if it takes 10 years. Oh gosh, I hope it doesn't take that long, but you get what I'm saying, right?
Right now, I am also working on A Nightmare in Sunnydale, a horror genre mesh-up fangame, if you will. I also like playing games. Actually, playing RPGM games is legit one of my favorite pastimes. *insert smiley here*
When I can fit it in, I do a little bit of Gatekeeper as well, a sci-fi fantasy about a team of god-lite forces, Gatekeepers, who have to protect the dying Earth from forces they don't even know about.
If thou think they can take it, download some of my stuff!

A Nightmare in Sunnydale
Thanks for pointing that out! I'm guessing it's problem with the scripting or perhaps a clash of scripts, so I'll work towards fixing that.
In the mean time -- and this is horrible -- but there's a way to change that around in the game itself:

But hopefully by the time the full game is finished, I would corrected that. If anyone's curious, I used Yanfly's Party Selection System script and Trickster's caterpillar script, so if you have some advice -- I'm ALL ears!
Re: Bosses
Yeah, I made the bosses challenging with the intentions of rewarding the players with a huge "Karma" and cash boast for surviving. If it's too much, I have no problem going back and making them easier. The very last boss of the demo last was deliberately designed to be an SOB though. =P
Also, the game definitely wants you to use those items, which is why it provides you with so many (hopefully). However, for the future release, I'll probably have someone in the dungeons to sell items to the players encase someone forgot to do some shoppin' before they entered a dungeon.
Lastly, the game actually does (or should have, rather) come with a Guide (another Yeaster trademark!). It's in a notepad file (just below the README). It mentions the elemental weaknesses and strengths for not only the bosses, but the normal encounters as well.
I appreciate the comments, MKID! If there's anything else you want to comment on -- by all means, let mehear read it.

GOOD AND BAD NEWS ABOUT THE 'SUNNYDALE'' DEMO
I'm glad! =D
Some people are giving this game some hell because of the whole crossover thing.... but honestly, I can somwhat understand, because I'm sure if I saw a crossover game featuring Ranma 1/2, Dragon Ball Z, Pokemon and Naturo characters, my initial thought would be: O.o ??!!
I look forward to reading more of your comments.

I'm eatin' chicken right now. :P
Also, KFC's chicken is gross.
I could really use some of their honey BBQ wings, though. Speaking of which, there's a KFC up the street from me, too...

A Nightmare in Sunnydale
That's something I do in all of my stuff. Call it trademark if you will. =P
Besides, some people may like naming their characters, idk. I didn't really think much of it. If becomes too much of a bother, I can easily take it out.

GOOD AND BAD NEWS ABOUT THE 'SUNNYDALE'' DEMO
*sigh* Now if only I had discovered that last night...
Anyways, thanks a bunch. At least now I know, so I won't run into the same trouble for the full release.

GOOD AND BAD NEWS ABOUT THE 'SUNNYDALE'' DEMO
I tried that on my desktop (which didn't have VX) and it wouldn't work. It said it needed the RTP although the RTP was already in the game's folder. *face-palm*
I'm sure there are lots of ways people have dodged that problem. I just did the easiest thing for me. lol

Wherever they're from, they're definitely cool. I think they fit the game perfectly.
GOOD AND BAD NEWS ABOUT THE 'SUNNYDALE'' DEMO
Craze, if your game's data exceeds 128MB, VX won't compress it properly. Sure, it'll say "compression complete!" and make you think you did something right, but whoever downloads your game (or you, for that matter) will have trouble extracting your game's data...because after 128MB, VX pretty much said "fuck it" and stopped compressing, thus leaving out a whole bunch of files including the ones that actually make the game playable.
Personally, I think it's stupid... but there's a way around it. =P
