cutscenes
for some reason if i know my game has a big cutscene coming up i find myself in a horrible procrastinating mood and find it very easy to be distracted from the project for a long time
it always seems to be when the next thing I have to do is script a big cutscene that I fall in to the cycle of always finding something to distract me and put the game on hold
so how do you guys feel when it comes time to put togather a cutscene, do you find it as daunting as I seem to or do you find it to be something that makes you excited to keep on working
are there any other parts of the game that you found to consistently be a roadblock to working when it comes time to do it?

yeah i'm back
i was gone for the entire summer on a vacation to new england where i was away from my computer which is why i was gone (also for a little while after i got back home i was a bit too embarassed to log on after not doing a single thing for my game for so long)
i'm back on the site now and i'm ready to try and start working on my game again, it wil be a bit slow though, i'm disappointed with how little free time i suddenly have now

holy crap i better roll up my sleeves and start working on this again!
being away from my computer for 3 months to vacation in new england definately threw a wrench into this thing, but coming back to a review was pretty surprising, and makes me want to try and get craking on this again
also i should point out that i didn't make the battlers myself, they were made by someone named etoiler. You better not let Craze see this review Kentona cause he has been using this exact same battler set in like all of his games! =P

Why does dying have to suck?

The game I hate dying in the most is Final Fantasy Tactics because every goddamn battle takes like 30-60 goddamn minutes.
The less shit I already did and have to redo, the less game-overs bother me.
I love FF Tactics but the battles do take a ridiculous amount of time so I was always so pissed when I did get in over my head and lose

You talk about about the music in the beginning but because of the speakers it is impossible to hear any of it
I generally hate blind runs but this was pretty good
(also when you LP RPGs you should not be afraid to edit stuff out especially if it takes more than two tries to beat a boss. I'd also edit out any random encounters unless its the first time you are seeing a certain enemy.)

I sometimes questioned whether I was even capable of making a game that was completely serious. That I would make the attempt and fail because while writing I am always able to come up with some way or another to poke fun at whatever I am trying to do.
