Cavern of Doom Review

Cavern of Doom Review

Look sir I am trying, in a civilized manner, to explain why I review like I do (short and to the point). You speak of mechanics, you care for them, fine.I don't.

Allow me to repeat: this is my style and I really don't care if you or others don't like it, find it terrible or whatever. Heck, I bet you don't even understand it 100% in the first place.

Don't like it? Don't read again my reviews, simple as that, but I bet you will just to tell me how terrible they are, huh? Just so you know, I submited yesterday my lastest review (for phantom legacy), still ins't posted but check it out as soon as is out:

The problem with this review isn't that it's in Spanish. The problem with this review is that it lacks detail. A lot of reviews like this have been getting accepted recently and it's a fucking joke.

Good sir, if by lack of detail you mean that I did not explicit what you find in every dungeon, what kind of enemies there are en each one, how many weapons/armors you can buy and their respective price, then yes, it lacks detail.

Writing about almost every single detail is not my style, I believe a review should only highlight the good and/or bad aspects of the game. Thing I believe I did well in this *my* review.

Could we at least get a google-translated version attached to the review? I know people can do it themselves, but... why should they have to?

I saw how my review was translated with google translate and I did not like it because it was bad if not awful, even I can write it better starting from scratch with wordreference's help. The reason I don't do it is because it requires time I don't have and work I am disinclined to do. So I won't include google translations.

My reviews are aimed at fellow spanish speaking people, if other people really are interested to understand my, up to now, called poor/lack of detail/short reviews, then they have to work on their own to translate it.

I'm puzzled as to why you wrote your review in Spanish here when you commented in perfectly good English :P

Anyways, you can run from battles. I explained how in the comment section.

It might look like I can write English more or less well, however I assure you it's hard for me to do so, that's why I preffer to write reviews in Spanish (my native language, of course).

And thx for your explanation, I don't know if I'll play this game again but in case I do, I'd know you have to wait until Zidane joins to be able to run.

I just think it's too short to be accepted. Especially the other review he wrote. It's beginning to feel a lot like RRR standards.

Sir, I like quick reviews, in fact I skip long reviews because of the time it takes to read them, and there are many people who is like me in this regard. For they (and myself) I'll keep them short and to the point.

As for the topic with Alterego, look mi amigo, I kinda understand your point but please let me do what I want with my reviews and do whatever you want with yours. Ok?

You know you're on an English speaking community, don't you? Then why!? Why on earth are you posting reviews in Spanish for!? What are you trying to achieve? ...This is a clear disrespect to the people who frequent this site and constantly try to make it (one of) the best rpg maker community(ies) on the internet, regardless of their nationality, regardless of what their native language is; You don't see reviews in Swedish, or Tagalog, do you? - Well, then? What do you have to say?

Geez! Way to embarrass us people who come from Spanish speaking rm communities. =/

Greetings good sir.

First off, I haven't seen any rules here about having to write our reviews necessarily in English. Proof enough is that my review was accepted in Spanish.

Second, it's far easier for me to write my reviews in Spanish because, obviously, it is my native language. That's why I do it, I'm not trying to archieve nothing more than to share my thoughts of the game with fellow Spainsh-speaking people or to anyone who might understand it.

I fail to see how this is a "clear disrespect". If somebody doesn't understand Spanish, they just have to use google translator, get their English-Spanish dictionary or, simply, skip my review.

Lost Legacy: An Animania Story

Ok, more than a week and I receive no answer from the creators (bad, bad support)

The game did look promising, I liked the initial story and the music was ok. I was terribly annoyed by the continous "Oniisan", "oneesan" and the "hais", but I was willing to tolerate it, the voices in-battle were far from good, still, I was willing to tolerate them. what I can't tolerate (only Legendary Legend is an exception) is that you can't run from battles, meaning that you have to fight every single encounter in the game.

My playstyle consists in running constantly so I can't play this game, gonna have to delete it and play something else.

Creators, I really suggest you add the run option to the menu.

Lost Legacy: An Animania Story

Excuse me, how do you run from battles?

thx

Bloodsphere

Alex898, hope you don't mind a review in Spanish . I don't mean to flame your game, but I always speak my real thoughts of the games I play. If I like them, I will praise them, if I don't, I'll point out their faults.

REVIEW:
