[Hype Topic] Fenrir II - First Details
What was wrong with the original shooting system? I know that the collision detections weren't spot on but that was down to the limitations set by RPGMaker 2k3 or so I thought. If it's improved then I'm really looking to it but I really didn't mind the old system.
Guess the Game Company Logo!

You guys are too young.
I recognised Data East but I was thinking Data West because I got confused with another company. :(
Don't recognise many of the others though!
Worst sickness thing

Having diarrhea all day every day for your entire life is just one part of crohns disease, which I'm inflicted with.
:( I have a similar disease except I don't have severe toileting problems but I'm always in pain in the morning and afternoon. Doctor calls it IBS but all the pointers don't say that but I know I have some sort of nerve problem.
Ya, taking antidepressants except it's too damn strong.
Samsung NC10 Netbook
Just an update, I got my netbook yesterday and I tried out RPGmaker 2000 and play tested it, everything was as good as on my desktop (on default settings). I'm going to try VX or at least one of the games made on it and see what happens.
Further update:
Playing RM 2000 and 2003 games is very solid and there's absolutely no lag whatsoever in test play. I didn't have other applications running but the CPU was pushed to about 70 - 80% at the most.
RPG Maker VX doesn't work as ankylo pointed out but it does in the standard screen resolution of 1028 x 768 although it you'll have to scroll down a bit to get to the lower part of the app. What works even better is just to connect it via a VGA cable into an external monitor and work from there if you happen to have access to a monitor. Works great.
Hope this helps anyone who's got a netbook or a small screen to work with.

Samsung NC10 Netbook
That looks way too complicated but it probably might work. From another forum user I found that the NC10 allows the resolution of 1028 x 768 with scrolling so it might just work, perhaps. Is there such an option on the Mini9?
Samsung NC10 Netbook
Max. resolution is 1024 by 600. :(
Yeah XP has that requirement too. Someone on another forum was able to play Football Manager 2009 in windowed mode on the NC10 (it needed to be done via editing system files) so I might see if I can get VX in that mode.
RM2k running slow is worrying, I mean my old Fujistu laptop (500 MHz, 64 MB RAM) can run that just about! I think the Atom processor just isn't powerful enough so getting a Netbook isn't the best idea for game making but I'll see what happens.
Oh and I'm not so sure AVG is doing well atm, it kinda flopped with 8.0 but 7.5 was decent. Right now I've got Avast ready to install along with Zonealarm although I don't think I'll be able to stand the annoying pop-ups it does. Might even stick with Norton's trial version for a while.
Thanks for taking the time to test things out. :)

Do you really need to quote the entire screenshot again? Seeing it once on a page is enough. :< Anyhow, walking through those smoke vents should be fun.
