What Do You Do?

Right now, I'm working towards my PhD in Chemistry. Hopefully I'll be able to make people call me a doctor in a few years time.
Lost ambition for me. I made it as far as 2nd year Masters Chemistry but I decided to stop because of how boring it got with physical chemistry and organo-arrows. I don't want a career in that tbh but I respect people that'll preach chemistry with so much enthusiasm (main reason why I chose to study it).
Right now I'm thinking of taking the retakes but Quantum Mechanics and Organic Synthesis is failing me so I'm looking at a career somewhere else. Not many options though as I chose Physics, Chemistry and Biology for A Levels. Probably will go to healthcare as I enjoy taking care of sick people...

Working Out. Also: Stats. Get off your ass and join in!
The way I do a squat (w/o bars) is:
- Keep back straight especially the lower area.
- Place hands on hips to keep central balance.
- Bend your knees slowly until you're feeling the load on your leg muscles. If you're getting some knee pains you're doing it wrong and I'd stop before you injure yourself.

I'm sure you know how the theory works but for me I just try it out even if it's risky. Squats are very effective as Natook said.

Chances are you're not eating enough.
yeah i'm around that size and eat like a pig but still i never gain any weight. I have a good metabalism.
Me too, it's actually troubling me a lot nowadays with stomach pains and headaches...
Anyway I can't remember my stats back at 16 yrs of age. I'm 21 now:
Height: 5'7"
126 lbs.
30" waist.
BMI is 19.8 so I'm fine but idk I was a 32" when I was 16. Doctor says everything's fine but I keep getting remarks from family and friends about my decline in body mass. :(
My routine (I got some of the stuff from that bodybuilder site) isn't that effective for me I guess:
Workout A
2x10 Press-ups
2x15 Squats
1x10 Sit-ups
Workout B
2x15 Squats
2x10 ~10kg dumbell lifts on both hands.
2x15 Sit-ups
Mon/Fri - Workout A
Wed - Workout B
I'll be adjusting it to Rippetoe's Starting Strength routine but I don't have the long bar to do the military presses and rowing. I've stuck to this routine for about 2 months and while I've gained slightly bigger arm muscles my back was in some pain last week so I took a break from weight-lifting for now. (I did make sure I was in the correct posture.
I really need to get some endurance exercises in there like running or even jogging and probably to the gym but money is a big issue atm but once that thing is sorted I'll be go there.
And damn that allergy (lactose-intolerant) to red meat & cottage cheese! :P
Which of the 7 deadly sins do you most relate with?
Greed: Very Low
Gluttony: Very Low
Wrath: Low
Sloth: Low
Envy: Medium
Lust: Very Low
Pride: Very Low
I agree with that test in a way. Other people's achievements drives me forward to do better so I see it as inspiration rather than envy. I'm sure I'm more lazy than the test suggests but I follow strict moral guidelines. :P
