The reason is that the line height you're setting in the script isn't large ebnough for the font. It is likely set to 32 in many places in various scripts. Change it to a higher number to avoid this.

Such as self.contents.draw_text(0, 0, 128, 36, "Text")

Just an example.

Hahah, I can, if you really don't wanna personalize him. One of the main characters is kind of a ninja, though.

Editing wise, I'm still in the beginning of my game, so I have a lot of room
to add new characters who give out quests, or are a big part of the story
or who just give you an item to help you out. If anyone gives me a character description, I'll make the sprite, the custom face, and I'll make his personality show in the game. As I do with my characters. If you'd like to just post
here and I'll respond right away. ^-^
