What Videogames Are You Playing Right Now?
Mostly just been Touhou lately. Mountain of Faith and Subterranean Animism.
Once I got SA running, seems I got pretty much stuck. And I actually beat it in short time.

I'd appreciate a Let's Try of my MGS-game. I just think it got dropped rather quickly, making those 2.5 years not feel very meaningful. I'd fall bait for anyone that shows any activity of trying it out and commenting on stuff, expressing their opinion.
PLAYTESTERS-good or bad?
I guess test player would have been a good thing for my game.
I had tried it myself so many times and fixed sooooooo many things that I though there wasn't that much left.
Apparently I was wrong...
Now when I friend is playing the game, I'm surprised over all the stuff he finds.

I'm starting to wonder what exactly makes it worthy a spot in the featured list.
Is it visuals? Maybe not since the quality differs.
Game play? Donno here since I haven't played them all.
Rating? Well, if it is above 3 perhaps.
Download count? It could have been the case until I saw a few.
Hype? Donno about this one either.
And I wonder, are fan games allowed in featured? I don't see any in the list.

author=VideoWizardauthor=ZephyrI was wondering what you meant, because I remembered seeing it saying "available November 29th" this morning, but upon closer look, it says December 10th for Europe. And December 2nd for Australia for some reason (?). So it's just November 29th for the Americas.
And why the hell Golden Sun: Dark Dawn's release date was pushed from November into December...

That said, it's almost a simultaneous worldwide release, at least it being Q4 in all territories (released October 28th in Japan). It's just a shame that EMEAA is treated as a third rate region.
I'm ordering the US release from Play Asia. They had the release date for Nov, 2010. On the 29th or so they pushed the release date into December. And I don't even know which date that'll be now.

Log - Jumping (2k3)
I'd lock the actual controls and set commands to the Key Input. Up to move up, down to move down, etc. Pressing left or right will only make you face that direction. Set X, Y variable comparators at all times.
If you're at the upper part of the log, you won't move, instead just face up. And if space bar is jump, you'd probably need something to check if a log is in the direction you're facing. And meanwhile there's a an event that controls the moving of the hero on logs. Maybe put at switch to disable the motion while the jump initiates.
This is just pure guess to me though considering I've actually never built something like this.
It would however be my first thought to an approach.

Empire Earth is fun when you create your own maps and up the power and range of the Nuke by numeral clicks.
On my old computer it was fun to just drop the bomb and see everything freeze. The sound was the only thing that could tell you what was going on for several minutes. Then after 10 minutes or so you could see that 70% of the map was wiped out(or maybe even all of it). Sometimes the computer even forced a reboot.
