I'm working on these small but still greatly significant changes that hopefully will give the game better reception. I thought the solutions I had would be a quick fix, but it turns out one of them is harder to get working correctly than I expected. I won't give up!

I FINALLY beat it the right way and unlocked the extra stage.
Took long enough considering I've been so hell damn close so many times before.
However, beating Extra Stage is not likely to happen...

Metal Gear Solid: Lunacy of Legion Review

Thanks for the review although it seems the game barely survived it.
I can agree that the current release of the game at this point is poorly balanced.
Stealth kills are most hard to execute and the shooting-through-walls is also unacceptable.
The game becomes quite ruthless once you're discovered.
I've also heard before that the game lacks direction, that you most of the time don't know what to do.

Please stay tuned with the updates since there soon will be an improved version out that I hope will mend what went wrong.

Why don't you just make the enemies actually spawn bullet events that collide with the player to deal damage, rather than just display an animation over the player and deal damage.
That is actually my planned solution for the next release.
I don't know why I didn't think of it to begin with.

A Look At 2D Action RPGs

I'd take it my action "RPG" Metal Gear Solid is either a love or hate game.
Action RPGs are kinda hard to build in RPG Maker 2003 even to begin with...

Well, if you had game ideas which wouldn't fit rm2k3 but you made the game in this engine, it's your fault, not rm2k3. I do believe it's pretty flexible and so far there isn't much I think can't be done in it, even if not in an easy way.

What I meant is that F-G pointed a lot of flaws, and you were like "you just didn't understand the game, I need to explain it".
I can agree rm2k3 is flexible. I saw that it had lots of possibilities for the game I had in mind, besides, rm2k3 is the only RPG Maker I've ever worked with. The game concept started out simple but it grew into something more and I started realizing it would be hard to make everything a reality. I've tried as much as I could with what I had.

Not exactly. Sure, those are flaws, but to ease them I'll at least try to explain how the game works in a way that I think made it decent. If you'll just try to compare it to the real intsallments, then I guess my game is just a big failure.
