Just a lizard who makes games sometimes, allegedly!
I'm a computer science student and thus learning how to code...though I also work full time to support myself so my time and energy are limited these days. Still, I hope to get back into gamedev at some point and maybe play a game or two every once and awhile. I'm wanting to maybe learn another engine such as Game Maker or Unity, though RPG's are still my main area of interest so RPG Maker will always have a place in my heart.

Hey, this is really cool! I can tell this is still quite a work in progress, though. Like, your own sprites mixed in with the default, and stuff like that. Still though, there's a lot here that's impressive!
Your custom systems look really nice, especially the battle system. Those animations for the characters are great. And the battles themselves, while hard, didn't "boar" me or anything. Heh. My one complaint is that if anyone in the party dies(usually Lyka), the only thing I could really do head hike all the way back to the free heal, and try again. This got kind of old fast. I made it to the third fight with the big boar guy when I accidentally forgot to guard with Ashen when I should have, and it became impossible to win from there. Frustrating!
But yeah, this will probably be a great game if/when it's completed, so I'll subscribe and hope for the best!

A feisty young Korgg woman who's out for some quick cash. When a new energy corporation with mysterious motivations started requesting robot controllers for the next Battledome, she knew she had what it took to bring home the gold. After beating out every other contender in mock battles, United Plasma deemed her worthy to control their ulimate fighting machine, the Plasmastr-X7.

An up and coming energy company with a claim to fame: "Our energy is even cleaner than solar!" However, no one really knows the true nature of the plasma they use, or where it comes from. And at the helm of the company? Ex-CEO of Standard Solar Inc, Zurgg.

Plasma Staff - A long staff with a tip made of pure scorching hot plasma. It can be powered up if the user expends energy.
Electric Mace – Close ranged with this puppy, and you'll bash the enemy and fry their circuits!
Rocket Fistx2 – A powerful uppercut or a ranged finisher!
Beam Cannon (x1 charge) – This cannon requires a heavy foundation and drains a large portion of energy, but it decimates anything in it's path! Best used as a finisher!
Energy Shieldx2 - Which uses some energy to create a temporary shield around your robot.
Tracking Sensor – Follow enemy movement, avoid missile trajectories, a tracking system sounds lame but it will keep you alive!
Rocket Boots - To give your robot that extra something to their jump, buy these massive upgrades, that supply a boost thrust of approximately 1 minute's worth of rocket power! Be at the height of your game with Rocket Boots!
Energy Stealer – This cable can latch onto any robot to drain energy from its battery! The cable is vulnerable to being cut, but can drain an entire energy cell within a minute! Every second counts when the Energy Stealer comes into play!

Transition
I liked this! Gameplay wise it was pretty simple, but you nailed the atmosphere. That face....THAT FACE! D:
Those foggy overlays would probably be too much for your average game, but here they work really well. and the music selection is also very good. I also like what the game was building up to and the ending.
The writing was good, but there were quite a few spelling errors. Oh, and...

Dodging the fire from that reaper guy was waaay harder than the final sequence with the parents, which I cleared on my first try. Probably because the latter was more predictable.

Bowser Jr. is insanely awesome, yes! I'm not sure why I haven't committed myself to using him much, actually. Roy's my favorite, too. Dem sunglasses.
