Finally Complete and Getting back in the Fryingpan

So, wait, is this an enhanced ending or an alternate ending if you choose not to pray for Anastasia? O_o ...Either way it looks fantastic! I wish I could play this right now but my computer exploded some time ago. X_x ...The impatience is killing me! xP

Edit: That's so cool! I can't wait to play this. ;_;

Promised Design ~ Relationship Stars, con't

I like this idea, it is very similar to something I was thinking for my game. I had in mind to divide the 'leveling up' process between fights and meditation (I'm very into that kind of stuff) to spice up the ways of gaining experience a little. ...Anyway, my idea isn't that deeply ingrained in the game's mechanics or it's story as it is yours (yet) but I think the purpose is in essence the same: to make the player to constantly switch between characters and don't get too comfortable with a single team.

But one thing is theory and another thing is practice, and I've always wondered if this process would feel like too much of a chore for the player. Leveling up several characters is always an enduring experience (heh) even when "normal experience" is involved, and I worry that the player may give up half-way when introduced to a more complex system... =/

Officially on hold / Future plans

If you're really not that interested anymore in the Zelda fangame then it would be a waste of time to make original graphics for it, not to mention the feature to make them interchangeable in-game. It would be best if you focused in the other two games instead, they seem like pretty neat ideas but obviously they're still too green...

I like the shooting game the best, I think it's the one with the most potential. But the other one, I don't know what you could make with it besides one of those cute games that are not really games, but hey... btw, haven't you considered to make it 3D with a color anaglyph system? I ignore how much difficult would it be to make, but not everybody can cross their eyes like that (I can but with a minimized screen, it's a bit harder at full screen) while everyone has one of those glasses laying around.

How come people don't explain their features? They just..

Well, I think that if you ask most people they'll be more than happy to tell you about their influences, except maybe if they're beginners; they haven't experienced enough yet to start branching out their own ideas... But in general, I don't think people actively try to conceal it like if it were some crime. Maybe they just don't consider it relevant enough to go out of their ways and blog about it.

...Maybe there needs to be a change in attitude around this subject so people start to rationalize their influences more deeply, and talk about them more openly, but this is true for all sides for the argument. There needs to be a change of attitude regarding how we judge other people's work. - I've seen it. Some people can be overly cynical about this. If you talk about your influences, then your work is generic and/or derivative and you're thief. If you don't, you're thief too but this time is worse because you're trying to hide it/deny it.

Bottom line, we should approach these issues as objectively as we can, and not just as a way to undermine other people's work. ;)

The Land of Darkness ~ Exploring Nocturna Plains

Yeah, I think most monitor today are set very bright by default, butwhatchugonnado? I mean, there's a drastic difference between the first three and the last screen... In any case I think it would be a good idea to not darken the screen overall so much, but just reduce the radio of the light, so there's a normal grade of visibility around the player. Know what I'm saying?

D'oh!

Well, technically I did confront an user, but I was careful leaving the backmodding out.

...Anything but the bees. Not the bees! D:

D'oh!

Sure, let's drop it, but first i'll answer you. =P

1.- http://rpgmaker.net/forums/topics/11422/
2.- And I'm not doing any of those things. Like I said, I was merely voicing an opinion. There's a difference.
3.- I'm just saying that's what most people would do. And you would too if you didn't let your pride get the worst of you.
4.- Nah, that still doesn't entitle you to anything. Funny, since you were decrying my own "warped sense of entitlement".
5.- Don't worry, I report blogs on a regular basis. Thanks for calling me a troll again, though... Keep it classy!

D'oh!

O_O But, there is a rule. If you really were to post a four words blog it would get deleted ASAP. I'm not sure if this particular blog would 'qualify' because said rules are very lax, but I can still voice my opinion about it, can't I? Is not like I'm resorting to name calling like you're doing. I think I made a fairly valid observation... Seriously, I'm not looking to hassle you. Is just that, if you can see for yourself that this is not "the longest or the most informative" blog you've made, you'd think it would be natural to edit it with more information or something.

Also, the fact that you donate to the site doesn't have to do with anything. You're not paying for a service, or to buy special treatment. It's voluntary! I mean, why would you even mention that? ...It sounds to me like you're not too happy about it. xD

The Land of Darkness ~ Exploring Nocturna Plains

I'd say Nocturna Plains are more than just characteristically dark; they're unbearably dark. Seriously, I wouldn't like to pump the brightness of my monitor through the roof just no navigate one area... If you did this on purpose I'd argue is a bad decision to inconvenience the player just to convey an idea. And if you didn't do it on purpose then maybe you need to calibrate your screen. =P
