I have been fiddling with RPG Maker on and off for six or so years, and in becoming so accustomed to it, have been reluctant to learn to hard code anything. Despite that, I plan on going to school for Game Design, because I -love- making games (although I have yet to finish one, haha). I'm also pretty terrible at coming up with an interesting block of text about myself, so I am going to end this here! :D

About how long will it take for this to finish because i have to say personally i think this game is going to be amazing :D
I am working on a semi-side project at the moment and I'm learning a lot in terms of design from it, so this game will probably come out sooner than I originally anticipated. While the full game is quite a bit away, a demo could potentially be out within the next few months or so.

Very nitpicky, but I suggest making the bar that sits on the bottom hud smaller. It's a little gaudy and draws attention away from battle.
Otherwise, I like how this looks. Can't wait to see a video of it in action or something.

Achievements

Game Achievements are a terrible idea. As for RMN activity achievements, wouldn't that mean more spam?
Does not Support
Your comments are incredibly constructive.
Honestly though, what is wrong with game achievements? Achievements manage to suck in a lot of players on consoles, why wouldn't it work with our games?
I support this idea, although I am no longer a sucker for achievements. I believe it would bring more traffic to the site, which is always good.

...She recovers the WHOLE party for 20g? Don't you think she would charge more for something that risque?
Four Heroes of Light ~ In Soviet Russia, Battles Target You
Reading the latest issue of Game Informer, this game got a 6/10, which by their standards is not very good. While I know this sort of game appeals to a lot of the RMN community, being a classic RPG meant to evoke nostalgia, I felt like the reviewer was pretty biased about the whole thing.
Off the top of my head, I remember the reviewer saying the job system sucked, the limited inventory was stupid, and that the storyline was generic. Thoughts?
EDIT: I am actually interested in this game, mainly because it has the Craze Seal of Approval (although that could mean anything).

Very cool screenshot. Those tepees are boss and the horsies are nifty as well. I would recommend toning down the brightness on that yellow glow, though, as I can hardly even see what's creating it, haha.

I see what you mean, but I use three different sized-boxes for names now. One for short names, one for medium names, and one for long names. Also, my setup for messages are like this: I use names on the first line, leave the second line blank, and use the last two for dialogue. So, if I put faces on the same level as names, I'll have to adjust the first line of text, and that could result in name cutoffs. The way I have it right now takes up less space than if I were using all four lines.
You could just move the faces over to the right and on the same level as the names. Just a change or coordinates is all that would be required.
Great screenshot, though. I like how all the characters are actually sitting (small touches always make the diff), although I did just notice what looks to be a tiling error in the room with the staircase. There's a sack, potted plant, and an inkwell with paper magically stuck to the wall.

I agree with Craze on both matters. One thing to remember is that when using icons and whatnot, is that when used incorrectly, they just become clutter and make the text in your game unbearable to read.
Also, I feel like the bar at the top should be made smaller in the vertical sense, as its current size/position draws away from the actual battle at hand. Maybe that's not as much of a problem when the battles are taking place in more colorful areas, but the rest of the systemset uses such bland colors it really stands out.
On a positive note, your battlers look to be of good quality. I would like to see them killing stuff. :]
