That's me, there.

Actually, that's not a bad idea. They can't use magic because it hurts, but maybe PMS does have some serious advantages.

Can't. I used nearly every picture of her (I have about ten such pictures, and no that isn't the original. I have deviantart here that could also be it. http://www.deviantart.com/art/Blue-anime-walll-142412701). And then I spent hours of my life digitally editing photos for scenes. These pictures are a part of my game, and is now the de facto picture of Ambrosia.

If you can find me the original author, I will credit that. If not, then it is a safe assumption that the artist doesn't care. It's lost art.

If you don't know copyright law, you can't make legitimate demands on crediting. Insofar as crediting, I found where it came from. It's not my duty to find who the original author is. Only to tell where I got the picture from. So no, I'm not removing it, because I just not only credited where I got that picture, but where I found a full-size picture.

Read this please: http://fairuse.stanford.edu/overview/fair-use/four-factors/

(Which btw, not only says that the core of fair use is about transforming the original work, and not disrupting the market profit. But it also says crediting does absolutely nothing, and can actually backfire and open you up to getting sued)

Also read this...
http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:uHQFBij7XA0J:copyright.columbia.edu/copyright/permissions/if-you-cannot-find-the-owner/

(Which says, that yes, it may still be copyright, but this can be solved by assessing the risk on the market. As in, does it steal money from people making it. Since I have not seen the massive popularity of no-name blue haired girl, umm yea...)

Again, if you can get the real author, I can ask him if it's okay. Otherwise, I'm going to assume the author doesn't care, and I've credited all the sources I know of.

I, the undersigned, assume full responsibility for the work therein, and waive all responsibility from the host network, hereafter called RpgMaker.net. In the event of a lawsuit, I am prepared to pay any money that I have earned from this project.

(Which btw is nothing)

It's part of balance, because spellcasters (predominantly female, except for Elias, and Michael who is probably sexless anyway) effectively rule in this game. They also get the best elemental defense gear.

Actually, Slayers discontinued it because they found out their audience was mostly female. That said, with some clever writing, they probably could have addressed it sensitively. I have no idea what my audience is, and since it took alot to put it in, I'm probably leaving it.

Menstrual cycles are a fact of life. I designed this game to be mostly realistic (I have seasons, weather, even a time system that goes up to the year, etc) within the confines of a fantasy world. Within the confines of a fantasy world, what is realistic is that people have periods, and even if it didn't cause "power loss" as I decided, it would hurt so much you wouldn't be able to focus on spell-casting. Or should I belittle the pain of women, by pretending it doesn't exist?

WorldMap.png

This was a blank map (I typed in "treasure map" or something into google), that I edited, and added map art to. It's mine, I tell ya.

Ambrosia.PNG

Dammit, I don't know who to credit for this. It's a commonly spammed artwork under fanpop.com, I think one of the posters was Phoenix007 but that's not the creator.

Found it.

But they don't credit where it comes from either... Gimme a break.

maplestory.jpg

(Yay, mandated credits. This is from MapleStory. Property of Nexon)

Sword2.PNG

This is from charasproject. I edited it, adding the sword (it was originally a gameover page).

Oh, wait, I think I assumed character two was the blond, so I was looking at him, and then seeing this brown-haired dude (back).

They're not as bad as the LOTR game from early Windows days, though. So I guess it's alright.
