Aaaah, sorry for the late response! I thought I already responded to this... ^^;

I finished all the art [minus ending/credits related stuff), so that break really did help! Haha, yep, that pun is perfect for the holidays. It'll be Christmas in less than two weeks already!

That is a huge mood. Just because I like sunny weather doesn't mean I want to burnt. xD

Don't worry one bit! I've been a little busy myself as of late. I've ended up having to start over using new yarn, thicker needles and less stitches on my scarf bc the last one was too wide and thick to do anything with ;m; also I was tugging the yarn too tightly, so that also added to the problematic mass of crap ><

But NOW, the new one is a lot thinner, more loose, easier to work with and I'm more than a quarter of the way finished with it ^^ bad thing about it all is that I can't go Christmas shopping with my sissy .m. my dad didn't make the money he expected to from his job, so we can't do that and also my mom's sick, so there's no way we can do anything awesome like that like Brittany and I planned :( we've been reworking our plans though, like sometime after the holidays, which would be great bc you usually have a decent sale on everything after Christmas :)

Oh that's good! Being moderate with things is key; if I just went and decided to finish my scarf today, I'd be really tired bc of constantly focusing, my hands would be cramping a site bc of all the hand-work involved, then after a nightmare of a decision, I'd probably put it away and never get it finished. I'm actually doing this in a mini-goal type of setting. I knit rows of 12 at least 25 times a day. I'm also breaking up the 25 to about 10-15, this way I can take a breather and check my progress ^^ right now I'm at the 40th row, only 10 left until I reach today's goal! If I didn't give myself a reasonable break on my creative projects, I'd probably never get them finished ^^"

I'm actually in a place in my life where, last year in October, I got my smartphone taken bc my parents hate my fiancé. So they think we aren't together, which is why I write letters and don't use social media. Also I email my sis and my aunt that talks to him for me when I can't be around her. When I can come up to her house, she lets me message him, even call him which is always special <3 she and my uncle even take care of our letters, keeping his up there, sending mine to him, they're just fantastic <3

Right XD I don't like being tan at all lol

Hello, I'd like to praise you on the game!

I've not finished it yet, but I'm loving it so far!
The story is excellent, I'm a sucker for anything inspired by Stephen King ^^
I like the turn-based style and the item-finding. Also, the music is wonderful, definitely puts you into the atmosphere ^^

The only real problem I have with the game is the visual effects when one has become shaken or traumatized. They tend to lag the game and makes it difficult to maneuver. Is there anything in the game to use to prevent these effects from affecting the characters? I've also had some problems with everything but the lights blacking out.

I'm sorry if I'm being a Debby Downer, but I thought I'd bring these things up front so you know and others don't have the same problem ^^

Aww, thank you! I just finished up a small unrelated game, so now I'll be back to solely working on Träumerei. The remaining maps shouldn't take me too long to complete now! ^^

Thank you so much for the offer! I'll be sure to keep you in-mind once I get to the beta tester phase. It would help a lot since I typically don't have my games beta tested (Chapter 0 was the exception, and even then I should have probably asked more people to get a broader sense of how others would view the game). Ahhhh, thank you so much for your kind words! <3

I usually stick to using Tumblr and Discord, haha. Twitter as well, though to a lesser extent. I know what you mean; there's so much pretty art on Tumblr.

I am definitely a Summer person. "I miss the sun," I say...even though I'd spend the summer season completely avoiding light like a vampire. I can handle the cold; I'm just not fond of the year suddenly coming to an end. ^^;

And that sounds lovely! Knitting is a great skill to have; I hope you'll have fun! And enjoy the fall/winter weather! ^^

It's a good idea to every now and then take a break from a big project so you can relfect on what your original intent and ideals were; sometimes we like to take big projects and work on them all the time, but after a while, we get tired of it bc it's all we work on, so a nice holiday is necessary for any type of creation we take on :) (not sorry for the pun, I LOVE CHRISTMAS!) ☃

I used to be sooooooo frigging obsessed with looking at ever single metalhead pic and aesthetic pic I could find; I would freak out so bad if I skipped a day =_= I ended up giving up, no matter how bad the impulse to scroll was..although I looove the stupid kawaii 90s anime gifs and pictures..grr so cute >< ☃

☃Oh ok :D Like me XD If I do go out, I coat myself twice, even three times, in sunscreen XD I like to keep my skin Moon tanned bc I am a nice witch lady ^^ I honestly have something to love about each season, it makes it easier to deal with what you don't like about them :) then again, I am an optimist, even though I knit listening to The Smiths/Morrissey and dress like I just came back from a witch's coven...XD☃

☃Oh yes, especially with snow falling outside, the tree decorated, some yummy warm coffee to sip and some Christmas movies on tv, the best thing to top it off is to play with my cat and knit ^^ It is; plus, it's so versatile; the possibilities of things to knit is endless! It surprised me at how many things I own that have been made from needlework :) that brightens up my motivation to crochet and sew and things like that, because I see so many things I can create by hand <3 plus it's a great money saver :p I think it'll be nice to knit things for others and give them to them when I, one day, travel the world with my camera ^^ that's my envisioned career :)☃

Hi Kat; thank you for the question! Progress is going really well (I finished writing the whole script months ago and finished all of the artwork. All I have left to do are 20 maps). I usually just stick to Tumblr/Twitter for updates and keep RMN strictly for game downloads.

Though, I'll upload some of my current maps here as well!

✧ Exactly, it's all about persevering and not losing love for your ideas or things you're pursuing :) I've found if one gets frustrated and keeps putting the thing off, they won't progress one bit; if anyone knows that, it's me; I'd know about 80% more Japanese right now if I had stayed strong in my studies 3 and a half years ago :/ that being said, bodybuilders don't get their muscles toned and defined without the effort, so I think the same thing goes for every pursuit ✧

I sadly haven't continued to work on the project since my latest blog post, but I'll come back to it after I finished my other game 'Moondust'. (Or maybe work on it parallel, in chunks.) I just see all of my concepts getting dust on my shelve, but I know I'll get nothing done if I don't prioritize what I should work on.


✧ Oh I understand that about working on something complex and feeling overwhelmed bc of the expanse of things ^^ ✧

★ I'm currently studying Japanese, the language, the culture, everything I can learn about it, but I realized if I don't break up what I'm learning and try learning it all at once, I'll get flustered and not want anything to do with it bc I'd be pushing myself too hard. ★

✦ Another thing, my cousin (more like a sister) and I have been planning a game, we had character descriptions written, storylines developed and everything; we were just about to start on the art, but life got in the way, we got busy, and things have taken a standstill since.
The only thing we did wrong is the same reason why we didn't keep working on it; we were trying to work on too many things at once, we were facing in 50 directions when we should have been going down one path, finishing it, then starting the next one. ✦

⋆Since the holidays are coming up, we probably won't get to have any free time for it, but I'll eventually find time on my own to draw a few ideas and ask her about them later, because I think our game will be a great one once we get to put the time into it ^^ ⋆
