As for it being/not being available in battle, I'll see if I've got a save file where I had it equipped and it didn't show up.
I just double checked to make sure and you can use all restoration spells in battle. Perhaps you did not have the skill "equipped" when you failed to see it. Hope that helps.

I've also been able to cast heal just fine in battle.
Also, I think it's a good thing that Mend is expensive. In over 95% of every RPG I've played, heal spells are the best spells and this game is not an exception. If healing are the best spells they should also be expensive. This game is one of the few where healing is actually appropriately priced.
Also I give the player a skill called minor mana drain that you can use to fuel mend spam.

I have no idea what your talking about. All regeneration spells are cast-able in battle...

Something that might be worth looking into. The leather cap raises evasion from 6 to 50. However, after careful monitoring over a range of enemies, I can't say that I've noticed any difference in their hit rate, which I would have expected as it is such a big hike in the stat.
Good catch easily fixed. Also There is no such thing as evade in my Glacia. So that isn't actually doing anything. It's an error all the same thou! Thanks.

I was thinking the same thing regarding spirit. I also think that making spirit's value equal to 4x attack everywhere is a worthy change. Thank you for pointing that out. Also Becca's axes could use an attack buff equal to the difference of that a shield gives. However Axe's give you free crit chance, swords do not. Crit chance is equal to 5 stat points. Also Magical Weapons that you would be upgrading to the Steamy prefix give you more SP to equip skills. A very valuable stat indeed.

This is something which has been mentioned before, but is still, IMO, a big issue. It's the miss rate. Someone spoke about how frustrating it is to get 3 misses in a row - well on a couple of occasions I've had 4. But far worse is when I've got a team of 3 (as I have at the moment)and they all miss for 2 consecutive rounds and then someone still misses in the third round. In the meantime they're being hammered by the enemy.
This is not challenging or interesting gameplay, it simply becomes tedious, and I am on the verge of jacking it in (something I rarely do once I've invested a few hours in a game) because the thought of trying to grind my way up through a couple of levels with battles like this is just too much to contemplate. Shame, because there are a number of good points about the game.
Will you be doing anything to adjust this in the future?
You are playing a game download that is A YEAR OLD. I am releasing the game tomorrow with addresses those issues.
