@crunkbanker - Actually, there are some. For example,"towncenter" would probably mean to be "town center."
Oh I see, I thought YDS meant spelling errors on the map itself. =P Even if there happen to be, I give props to anyone who uses a word like "monotheists" and can spell it correctly. xD

I know you probably think I am being sarcastic but I'm not. I am on this site nearly every day. I have a very boring job and we are so slow that I have nothing to do unless the phone happens to ring. I only just started posting though I joined several years ago. I really want to get to know the community better instead of being a lurker. =P (not that there's anything wrong with that)
Today I was reading through a thread and the replies were so ironic and funny that I was unable to keep the laughter in. I tried to cover it up with a cough and played it off as choking on a cracker but I don't think I was believable to my co-workers. >.<
Anyway, I really appreciate the funny/ironic/sarcastic and just plain off the wall posts the members here make. You all make my day brighter and a lot more bearable. <3

Update ( 1/06/2011 ) - This game is older than my niece.
Thank you so much for the update! Sadly there are makers that are actively working but wait WAY longer than 6 months to update, even just to say its still happening. The screen shots are gorgeous! *drools* You are a wonderful example of what happens when you make the atmosphere come alive. I just want to start playing to walk around and take it all in. If this game doesn't get completed I will cry because it would be a tragedy. =O
Leo & Leah: A First Look (video)
I like the black space as well. It reminds me of watching a movie on Widescreen so it does give it a clean look. It really lets everything stand out clearly. I love the borders too, that really helps distinguish the battle map from the commands and HP bars. ; ) Plus I think it will help distinguish battles from the general maps which is always nice. I don't know, it just has that polished look that is so often not seen in games I have played.

I definitely like how you changed it. For some reason, only showing most of the face looks smoother then the blocky look of the whole face. Rectangles>Squares? I don't know but it looks good!

I really like how you have some of the NPC's doing actual actions. Like the one with the pitchfork and the other one scrubbing the floor. I can't remember many games where the NPC's actually were physically doing something instead of just standing there saying what they are doing. I haven't seen these particular NPC charsets before. Did you make them yourself? If you did, I would love to see the one NPC woman with the broom in action sweeping. If not, that's ok, I am already intrigued by your NPCs since they appear more alive with the actions you already have them doing.
My favorite map in the video is the first one. It looks cozy and full without being overly cluttered. Nice touch with the steps too. Its a subtle addition most people wouldn't think to add but I noticed it right away. I love rooms that are elevated from the main room like that. All and all your maps look really nice. You put a lot of thought into them! The message boxes blend really well with the colors of the map. I hate eye sore message boxes. And I was pleasantly surprised by the drop down box that shows you what town you are in. Its much less frustrating as a player when you can easily identify where you are. ^_^
