Framerate issues with FRAPS

Are you trying to record the audio with Camstudio as well? If so I'd probably recommend recording the audio separately with something like Audacity and then syncing and merging it with the video in Movie Maker or whatever video editing software you have.

Hello everybody!

Framerate issues with FRAPS

You could try CamStudio. It's free and it worked pretty well when I tried it out. Didn't use it with RPG Maker though so your mileage may vary.

What Videogames Are You Playing Right Now?

Really? I got them all in a package deal, but I'd heard good things about Black Plague and Requiem.

What Videogames Are You Playing Right Now?

I've got a huge backlog of games I've bought but hadn't got around to playing until recently, so I'm powering through World of Goo, Penumbra and Aquaria at the moment.

That is some pretty excellent NPC writing, Rei. And knowing you, I would hazard the guess that those leaves animate when stepped on.

Looks more like they're falling from the sky...

Free Graphics Resources for Cheap Digital Artists :P

I posted this in the RPG master helpful things topic, but here seems more appropriate. Terragen (http://www.planetside.co.uk/content/view/16/28/) is great for making awesome landscape based panoramas and battle backgrounds. There's also a Terragen 2 which has loads more features, but uses a weird node based interface that I couldn't work out so I stick with classic.

Both have free versions for personal use so unless you're doing an Aveyond it should be all good.

You can make lovely desktop wallpapers with it too.

Looks good nightblade. One tiny thing (being really nitpicking) is the serif on the N that's overlapping the G. I reckon it'd look a bit better if you cleaned that up a bit. Otherwise good stuff.

it's like a wall of black for me.

What's weird is when I view the screenshot in Safari on OSX it looks fine, and when I virtualise Windows in OSX (how I run RPG Maker), it looks fine. When I run Windows natively though, it looks really dark.
