The New Adventures Of Billy The Kid Review

Nobody ever remembers that Anaryu and Krisanna have zillions of games...
(Ten completed ones to be precise.)
Yeah. That's one problem that the site has. Unless you actually click somebody's username to get their profile you won't see what games they were involved with. Then again, even the games listed don't necessarily mean that person was the developer.
The particular problem with Anaryu and Kirsanna games (I have actually played some of them) is, for the most part, that their best games aren't traditional RPGs, which sadly limits their appeal somewhat.

OK, catmitts. Now that the results of Game Gale have been revealed, I am revealing my ratings for your game with some minor edits to the review. Unlike other reviewers, I actually did take into account you pretty much ended up making this game in 7 days.
Carlsev Saga: Episode I Review
Oh, I see nevermind my comment. After all, it was more the feeling I got from seeing it that I was trying to express. Made them seem more alien. I'm glad that you're taking care of that.
RE:Alistair++ Review
Great that you found the dating sim you woke up one day wanting to play (perhaps you need to have more of those). I won't actually read the review yet, so I won't spoil my gameplay experience (once I get around to it).
Carlsev Saga: Episode I Review
EX, I guess your review pretty much agrees with mine on several aspects evaluated. I did forget to mention the use of blown-up pixelated graphics for the non-Carlsevian enemies, which I also found disturbing the first time I saw it. To me, it almost felt to me that the intent was to somewhat make them seem as faceless and foreign, devaluing their humanity. After a few times, I guess I got used to it (as much as one can get used to that sort of thing). It would be interesting to hear what Deckiller's take on this particular choice was.

Forewarned on the first sentence :/
Yes, he was. Either I warn them at the beginning of a review and usually in CAPS, or I try to be somewhat vague about the details of the story, which is hard but not impossible. I prefer the second option. The reader can easily get some details most of the time from the gamepage itself.
Fallen Heroes Review
Idida1, to allow your images to show, open each in a new tab or window, select View Image and copy the URL (insert where Sol mentioned Image Address). For example for the first one, that would be:
http://rpgmaker.net/media/content/users/8309/locker/1.jpg
Using that example it should be easy enough to change the two other to get the other two, but know you know how to do it.

Perhaps a new set of standards should be applied to the Game Gale contestants, there has been quite the slew of negative reviews for many of them which I don't think is fair given the short amount of time they were in production.
I agree with that. Apples can't be compared to oranges, figuratively speaking. As it is, it'll most surely discourage future participation in similar events. I bet those who didn't submit an entry on time but do release it later will be able to produce better, more developed and polished releases, given that they didn't have the time constraint and pressure involved.
On the other hand, at least people who submitted entries are getting some kind of feedback, although they should be careful on how they digest it. The fact they submitted should be applauded.
Beautiful Escape: Dungeoneer Review
"Be as objective as possible."
Sound familiar? It's part of the review submission page. In all fairness, a lot of reviewers don't due justice to it in the content, much less the actual rating given. I do agree to a certain extent to the comments made by F-G and calunio related to this review regarding the latter. To his credit, Sol did disclose at the beginning of it his inherent distaste for the genre of the game. I feel in the end, it is ironic that he has been advocating that we shouldn't focus on the ratings given on reviews. This might have one of those reviews that could have been better off without being given one (that's my opinion).
