im personally less a fan of 3d then anime(hand drawn)
even 3d models that try to look like anime style look bad in most cases.
take alot of skill and time to make it look good.
Sorry that you feel that way, but for me this saves a lot of time as I easily can create new animations once the character is rigged.
While if I were still to use pixelart for this project I would have to draw the character all over again in 6 - 12 frames or more.
I also feel that the 3d models looks very close to their concept pictures with I like.
But everyone has their own likes and dislikes.

Wow, I have to say I'm in love with the old style. Are those all custom assets (and are they available for use ;D)?
Most of it is are custom assets but there is a few rpg maker asset in there as well
such as the kitchen benchtop. ^^

Okay so from what I gather, the gender symbols are indicating that most of these characters are genderqueer, or that they're bisexual.
Can I just say: I CAN REALLY GET BEHIND EITHER OR BOTH OF THOSE THINGS and that alone is enough to make me sub. <3
Haha. The symbol stand for what gender you need to be to romance them. And yeah lots of them are bisexual. :P

You say you got a composer and a artist.
Why didin't you guys make something to add to the campaign before uploading it?
Like a few concept pictures and some simple tunes to set the style.
So people could get the overall feel of the game.

Female version is named Faren.
Depending if you play as female or male some people in the game will act different around you.
The class you choice will also of course play a role.
Some things may be to your disadvantages and other times advantages.

It's really something small in the body anatomy -- the arms
Somehow they seem a little bigger and a bit wider apart than they should be... Yet even if they are indeed, it is only by a very small ammount. I'm very observing of these small details. Anyways, absolutely stunning work, really!

Are you drawing from the four elements* in mythology to base the personalities of the characters as well? For it seems slightly so to me, which is something I really like doing. I mostly do this with astrology.
