Where The Moon Goes At Night
I played through it and recorded it! Took about an hour and a half or so. You can see the footage here: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLw8fVE94NZ5oVVCAYVRCeB4RCZllWuW3j
Pretty fascinating game, totally nonsensical but still gave itself a sense of direction. I don't think the gameplay was too developed but to be honest it's not the first thing I acknowledge when I play an RM2k3 game.

Beautiful Escape: Dungeoneer
This game is definitley one of the most disturbing yet incredibly fascinating games I've ever played. The atmosphere was perfect, the song choices still ring in my head (I can't hear Mad World without thinking of the busy street, or the weapon shop with the terrifying hum of "Woman Reminiscing" by Shankar) ... this is a must-play for horror fans of all-kinds.

VIPRPG isn't a tool, it's basically a genre of RPG Maker games in the Japanese community
I had no idea! Read the whole article. Thanks!
[RM2K3] Modern Tools for RPG Maker 2003 Modifying
Hey gang!
Wondering what the community knows about tools to add on to an RPG Maker 2003 project. I've been following the Japanese community via Twitter for inspiration, as their community for this engine seems pretty active still, and I've noticed that some things they've created are far outside of my understanding of the engine.
I see talk about "RPG Maker 2003S" as a tool, but I'm not sure where to find that or if it even works on an English version of the software - not to mention it's probably stuck in Japanese. Another I've seen (which might not be a program) seems to be called VIPRPG - here's a sample: https://twitter.com/kemurinoroshi/status/1167739459997057030
This tool described in a tweet can take immediate screenshots (presumably for use as a panorama) of a map! https://twitter.com/hako_maker/status/1038916104968491008
Do you know of any good English tools that work with the legal version of RM2k3? Or perhaps some good tools that might NOT be English? Hoping to pick the community brains....
Thanks!

Older RPG Maker 2000/2003 games?
I know a ton of RM2k(3) games from yesteryear but unfortunately I can't recognize any of the ones you mentioned, although the Enya song one kind of sounds familiar. There's a handful of threads and pages of people documenting old games... we should really get a proper database sorted for these!
[RM2K] Looking for an old 2k(3) game that used River City Ransom sprites
[RM2K] Looking for an old 2k(3) game that used River City Ransom sprites
Hi guys! I was hoping an old head or two might be able to help me locate an RPG Maker 2000/2003 game from GamingW. I've been thinking about it a lot and would love to play it and I'm sure it's in one of our archives. I just can't remember the name....
The game used River City Ransom sprites, had sort of an oriental setting, in modern Tokyo or something like that, too. The systems seemed to be standard but the RCR sprites were the most memorable part for me.
Any other things I can think of, I'll add to this thread.
Thank you!
