[DynRPG] Main Menu Game Playtime Clock & background/foreground options
author=PepsiOtaku
It's weird that you bring this up. I am working on refactoring this plugin (same functionality with less code) as of like 2 days ago. I haven't updated this plugin in so long because the drawText() function was broken in 0.20+, however, bugmenot sent me the info to basically rewrite it, so now it works, and I can update this plugin again finally.
I was thinking about additions too though. Transparent Windows is already added, and that I'll look into doing stuff with the shop scene.
Also a funny thing: Just recently, I rewrote parts of the plugin so that it basically only serves as a way to implement a picture in the menu and not display any time. Kind of weird for a time display plugin, but maybe you could consider an option for that.
I've seen more people who would like a "MenuModifier + Optional Time Display" than "Time Display + Optional Menu Picture" plugin.
Any one still use the RM2k Classic RTP?

less cohesive palette.
I have to disagree on that.

As you can see, the 2k palette (on the left) uses far less colors. Both palettes are far from unified, but the 2k3 ones has a lot more *almost* similiar colors.
The rest is a matter of choice. The 2k3 RTP does contrast (the dirt and grass for example) a lot better and things like the fence are not weirdly cut off.
Any one still use the RM2k Classic RTP?
I think the 2k RTP is a lot better than the RTP the 2k3 provides. Better colors, better shapes, a whole ton more (free) edits. It really is a shame that the new 2k3 does not include a valid 2k-RTP license.
Ghost Visit Review
Wow, thanks a lot for the review. It was a really nice read. :D
I'm really not used to developing in a short timeframe and I wasted a lot of time on small details. I guess that explains the lack of real content and the rushed ending, but oh well, I'm glad you liked it anyway!

author=AdditApparently after the scene when Arthur delivers the table to Margaret and you have the option to select what choice of dialogue or action he’s supposed to say or do next, if you select the “sneak away” option twice, after finishing up the next scene, Arthur’s walking speed is now of that of Sonic The Hedgehog’s. (Weeeeeeee!!!)
Well, that's of course the secret speedrun option! :P
Thanks for reporting, will be fixed. I'm not sure how fast I should update, honestly. Next update would have the ending removed, but it would just end in a "DEMO END" instead. Hm. :\
Ghost Visit Review
Thanks a bunch for the review!
The ending is indeed very rushed, the story presented is just a fraction of what I wanted to tell. I got a little bit ahead of myself with a pretty big plot for a contest which is only a week, so I had to make some.. adjustments.
But I'm really glad the game is still well recieved!

Oh, totally forgot, I also got my profile (click here) up! Mapping with RTP is more fun that I remembered it to be, although I wish we could use the 2k-RTP, because that's so much prettier.

author=Shoobinatorauthor=goldenroyGame jams breeeed prototypes. You can always expand on an idea of yours later, especially if it receives positive feedback.author=CernusIt's horrible, yeah. I always feel like I'm wasting the plot or gameplay idea if I "just do it for a contest". Damn perfectionism.
Is anyone else starting to get that gnawing panicky feeling that they won't get finished in time for the deadline?
Thing is, this event requires the game to be finished. While I don't think it really means that the story has to be finished, it sure pushes for telling something short. I hope something like a cliffhanger is fine, as long as the game is properly finished. We will see. (:
