Great job, horror.

I have some good news. First, we've just released a new demo that has the whole game but limits you to three hours of play. You can move your save file over from the old demo to the new full version demo.

You'll find the new demo at:

New 3 hour demo

Also, you'll find instructions on moving your save file over from the following link:

Moving Save File

The release date for the game is 8/6/2013 (a little under a month).

You can actually purchase the game now through our Kickstarter page and it'll be hand delivered when the game is finished.

I have already logged over three hours on the first version of the demo, so if I switch to the new 3-hour demo will it just time out on me immediately upon starting it? Thanks!

Alter Legend - Download Finally Available!

What is the answer to the temple elder's riddle? I know it's in the room, and I've given every object answer to no avail. Please provide the answer so I can move on. Thanks.

Okay - finished all the Hunter's Guild hunts on the Western continent (8 in total), so am now oompletely done with the demo. One last question: When this game becomes available for purchase, will we be able to start it from our current save files in the demo? My party is at level 17 and I'd like to keep it that way instead of starting completely over. Can't wait for the full version!

horror,

That's great! I'm glad you enjoyed the demo.

The "slime king" as you have called him is not a random encounter. He appears on the World Map but he is a decent distance from the Desert Oasis. We will likely add some information in our main README file to avoid confusion for the Hunter's Guild targets.

As for precise directions, head due north from the Desert Oasis (where you find the Gold Hunter and acquired the Drill) until you reach the desert/grassland changeover. At this point, head northwest onto a small peninsula where the Miner's Cave is located. It is on the small northwest peninsula that you'll find the Large Slime. If you're still having trouble, you can find detailed maps in the free strategy guide. Specifically, you can find the locations of the four Tier #1 Hunter's Guild targets on Pg. 581 of the strategy guide.

I hope that helps!

Please post any other questions you may have.

Sweet! Thank you so much! Going hunting now.

Last Dream

I've completed all main and side quests for the demo except for the monster hunts for the hunter's guild. I do not have a hunter in my party, do I need one to complete these quests? I have accepted the hunt for the slime king, and have gone to the desert area north of the oasis, but have yet to encounter him. Is it a random encounter? If so, how long do I have to wander around the area before finding him? Also, is there a more precise location other than just somewhere north of the oasis that he may be? Really enjoyed this demo - can't wait for the full game - it will definitely be a buy for me.

The east wing's chest can be opened by doing various things in Manor. Like pulling switches, checking the books on library, unlocking doors etc. You'll most likely notice the progress when doing the right thing, also are you playing on silly mode or not? The railing area chest is a passworded chest, I'll give you a hint for the passworded chest, almost %80 of them song lyrics. ^.^

There is no chest at the railing area that I can see. It just keeps saying that area is locked. The only chest I found was in the east wing, and it is locked and apparently needs a key to open it even though it is a silver password chest. I have found no switches, and I've been everywhere I can go. Guess I'll go through again.

Shattered Hourglass

I'm in the witch's house in chapter two and cannot find the keys to open the chest and the railing area. Help.

Lunar Wish: Orbs of Fate

Finished the game - just the main quest and a couple of the side quests. Logged at 28 hours +. Gotta say - this is one of the best free jrpg's from this site that I've played, and I've played a lot of them. This is the type of quality game I would have paid around $15.00 for. Great job, and I can't wait for part 2 - The Rebellion! Rock!

I hope this helps anyone stuck on this puzzle.

Thanks. I was not aware that I could see the adjacent room by going all the way to the right in the main room. I am sometimes unobservant like that.

Your solution to the switches in Tanburn? cave is vague. Is the green lever to the right to be used to re-set the switch puzzle? If so, can you give exacting information in the form of space counts in each direction the bomb is to be moved to trigger the A, B, C & grey button switches. Thanks.

Can anyone help with this? I've been really enjoying the game up until this point.
