It isn't the official tardis, just a free transparent version i found online. Its free of use and my game isn't a commercial one so there really shouldn't be any problems.

Nice shadow effect on the ogre, but I really hope you contacted the BBC about your use of the TARDIS.

Timelord RPG

Yeah you have a point, but speeding texts ruin tension in dramatic scenes. It just wouldnt work

Really its just one second, you barely notice it.

I've used anywhere between 20 and 30 frames for pauses. However, there are a few moments that I tick the "wait til done" box for emote bubbles. Animations always have the "wait til done" box ticked.

*Edit: Sorry, but it kinda sounds from here like there's a pause between each textbox? That sounds incredibly annoying.
Why not just allow the player to go at their own pace? That is, remove the waits unless there's something happening between the text boxes (like someone moving up to talk to another character or a kid falling over, for example). It seems pretty silly to put a wait there.

Timelord RPG

Yeah, later on in the game the player will be able to create multiple planets at will.

Agh!, sorry about that, i was thinking of a completely different context.
I meant i used 60 frames for 1 second.
Really sorry about that.

I usually use something like 25 frames.

Timelord RPG

I usually use 60 seconds which is one frame, but i get what your saying. Ill see what i can do :).

I only played a little bit, and while it wasn't too bad so far I think you leave too much time between chat boxes.

Timelord RPG

Where are you now?
author=Roy
its ok...there are always lots of reasons mistakes are made.

So...what do I do next to further the game?

Timelord RPG

Thanks a lot, ill get working on it now :).
The reason many of these mistakes occur is that is spend my time doing absolutely everything that i completely forget the basics.
And technically yes, at the beginning they aren't really necessary but as the game progresses the tardis rooms change so they should all be fixed :).
author=Roy
all of these are in the beginning so should be easy to find

strangely....UNAWARE
explain.....PROPHECY
so.....YOU'RE...going up
RECEIVED each time it is used
YOU'RE....telling me
you fall....UNCONSCIOUS

Thats all so far that I have found. So the engine and library cant be entered yet? Are we to go back outside to continue?

Timelord RPG

Could you give me a list of the spelling mistakes?, The engine room is a fixed thing, it changes later on in the game, the same thing apply's to the library
Thanks for the feedback though, its greatly appreciated :).
author=Roy
A few spelling mistakes.
The transport system is a bit unwieldy and you cant transport to the engine room. when you go to the library you are stuck and cant move but the option comes up to go to another place.

Let's work on your game descriptions!

Absolutely perfect!, thank you so much :D

I made a few small edits to make it flow better. Hopefully.

In the 5th Era of Terria, the planet is on the verge of a massive world war. After the defeat on Planet Earth, the Terrians were left with no choice but to withdraw to their original planet. There, a human king wishes to enslave all of Terria and use the planet as a prison for ungodly creatures. However, a small group known as the "VFT" (Vengeance For Terria) plot to wage a war on the king in the hope of winning their world back. Their plan has been planned to perfection, and they see all that happens in Terria...

...if only that were enough.

The game features:
  • A relationship system

  • A FULL time travel system

  • The ability to buy or create pets

  • The ability to create devices

  • Planet creation, and much more!
