How far along is this game so far can you give us a percentage to each feature completion? in the game blog?
Hmm, that's a real tough one to answer (so I won't try). Suffice to say that... most of the story has been completed. Most of the technical work has been fine tuned. Naturally, new issues or bugs will crop up from time to time whenever we decide to implement a new feature. With an estimated 40-60 hour playtime, there will be a lot of testing that needs to be done.
The only thing that is lagging behind are the plethora of custom art assets which includes portraits, battlers, sprites, maps and interface skins. Why? Because by the end of the project, the total number is going to number over a couple thousand. I wish I could sit down and work on it everyday full-time but I can't.
However, fret not. I *do* have info on our new build and you'll find out about it soon in a blog update. I'm just waiting on a couple things. Thanks for being so patient with us.

Is the #JanuaryGoal still being aimed for.
/Ican'tcontainthehypeforthisgame
#JanuaryGoal is going to have to come and go unfortunately. As we've mentioned before, it was a goal and not a set deadline. William has had blizzards to fight and I've had Kindergartners to entertain.
But there's some good news as well! (Actually, more like... *great* news!)
I need to wait another couple of days so I can touch base with the other team members before William or I make an important blog post update.
Thanks for sticking with us and being patient!

But still, that begs the question: what is the definition of "soon" in this case? Everyone has a different definition of this word. For some it's minutes, for others days, or in some cases centuries if not longer.

#JanuaryGoal :D
As the name states... a goal. It's not set in stone by any means... but we're getting there!

im sorry to bother banyone but where can i download this game they seem to have removed it ffrom hjere
As macblo pointed out, part of the reason the demo was removed was because of how outdated it was. The other reason probably has to do with what William said earlier about how the original releases lacked a coherent in-game credits list. We DO have a credits page here but we'd much prefer to have in game credits (which future versions will have via our datalog menu).
If you can be patient for a bit longer, we're actually working on a new build that should be out "relatively soon"! It's going to be preeetttyy raaadddd. ;)

As William pointed out above, he and I are of like mind concerning these matters.
This is why I watermark most of the art that I show even though its not particularly great. Our project has ballooned in size in the last year and will continue to do so at a frightening pace. By the time of its eventual completion, over 75-85% of the game is going to be all original content created/commissioned by William and I.
It's good that we get this all out of the way right now. I also want to reiterate one more thing that William said: Final Fantasy Discovery will never be distributed anywhere outside of RMN.

Congrats on the feature Yuna! :)
We're hoping to make a splash in 2015 ourselves. Anyways, looking forward to what Tristrian brings in the future~

I've been experimenting with improving battle visuals. More on that when I've completed enough resources for actual testing.
And yes... I concur. The Gold Saucer is going to be pretty freaking sweet. Oh, and Limit Break cut ins... I've decided to make some. :)

Been busy with school starting. So how's the development train been going? Seems like you guys have made a lot of progress in the last few months.
There's been cool stuff afloat.
With that being said, there's still a lot of things that need to be done; graphics-wise especially. It's quite a bit of work for two people... (especially concerning sprites and maps...)
As far as recent tidbits... the Travel Menu system will be getting some minor enhancements. It should help us save a lot of time in the long run and will also help flesh out our game world. Portrait creation is ongoing (as it will be for a long while). And... I've started to experiment with something new and potentially very very cool concerning battles. I can't really elaborate until I've decided whether or not the task is feasible with our current manpower.
