I think it a good idea to change the name at this point since Nintendo put the final nail in the coffin by shutting down the pokemon script and probably start the clean up on all the left over fakemon games.

If you have a valid key, it's definitely licensed. Contact the helpdesk and they should be able to help you out. There have been instances where the licensing will revert back to free (I've had this happen to me before).
Edit: I can definitely confirm this works, because I just watched it work on 1.2.1220 on a fresh install. If you're having trouble, the helpdesk should be able to help you out, not only with successful licensing, but with getting your 'None' name changed to whatever you prefer.

Well they say it for Christmas and if they give standard forever they will lose money at this point so it could be limited until the end of the year.
