Townlore Review

I wouldn't normally respond to ranting like the above, but you did call the author a dumbass. I am not the original author of the pasta mind you. On the other hand, I did try to keep as close to the original as possible. I am the one that put the medicine cabinet thing in place. Number one, most medicine cabinets do not have locks on them. Number two, I was implying that an unseen force opened the cabinet for the child.

Another thing that I noticed from your review is that you don't have little kids. This game would be perfect for a child. If you have ever watched a kid play a game on nickjr.com you would know what I mean. As for the father offing himself, he did play the game from beginning to end, otherwise, he wouldn't have given the warning at the end. Keep in mind too that his son just died from swallowing a large amount of pills. That would drive any sane person to commit suicide.

Finally, I am sick of seeing people review games when they don't like the genre. If you don't like horror or creepypasta or weird trippy games, don't play them it is that simple. Another thing that irks me is that if you are going to review something give the person some feedback as to how to improve. If you can do better tell them how you would do things differently. Its called constructive criticism and this review those not fit that category. If you don't you come off as someone just tooting their own horn.

Shouldn't matter that much, every story starts out from some origin. Slenderman is from something awful and most of creepypastas appear on either reddit or 4chan. My point is who cares if it started on this site. It is a good game, a good story and spreading it around aligns with the lore.

Yeah, I've been thinking about posting it on creepypasta wiki. I also found out that Townlore was mentioned on reddit as well. Game being posted here may be an issue, though, as it won't be some creepypasta game with unknown orgin, but a game made by someone certain (which can be found out by simply searching game's title via google for example).

On the other hand, game was published on the internet. Nobody really knows who actually made it - even if I posted it here, right? ;)

Wow, I just read your version. I like how detailed and realistic it seems. If you don't mind, I'll add it into the game file and as game description.

Thank you, now its time to spread this game like a virus. I suggest posting it on the creepypasta wiki for starters. They would eat this stuff up. They're always looking for original material. I think getting someone to read this out loud on youtube would be awesome too, they can link the game in their video.

The polished version of the pasta is setting inside your email account. Somehow I made the pasta 666 words, this was not intentional. I also added some extra creepiness.

Townlore Review

If you want I could polish the story for you. It wouldn't be the first time that I have taken a creepypasta and polished it up. I also know of some great places you can spread this across the internet. After all, I'm always willing to help a fellow game designer/maker.

Exactly when does Goatson sleep so that I can get into the forest? I switched the time settings on my computer, but I have no idea what time they need set for. I'm going to leave a review after I'm done with this game. First things first, though, I need to finish it.

Townlore

I have a problem with the creepypasta you wrote for this game. If someone just up and dies in their apartment, the police don't care about their computer. The only way they would have taken it for evidence is if it was a) a suicide or b) a homicide. Since creepypastas tend to throw around the suicide trope a lot, you might want to switch to saying he committed suicide. This means the son of the cop also killed himself. This is only a suggestion, but I think it might help.

AKEMI TAN

The whole time I have been playing this I have been apologizing for stealing the Ou apple. I really am sorry about that apple.

The Exquisite Corpse Challenge

I and pianotm are currently the only ones doing the exquisite corpse challenge. We need one more person to participate in the challenge/project to make it work. Are there any takers?

(3), RM2k(3) is cheaper, or easier to get off of warez for free
Why do people keep posting stuff like this? I know RMN, as a site, has an "honor among thieves" thing going on with English translations of 2K/2K3. However, stating that you can get those engines for "free" as a reason for why people should use those engines is pretty terrible (in my book).

I understand his point of view. Especially if he is more familiar with 2K/2K3. He did say he would be willing to compromise by buying XP. I was the one that told him not to worry about it.

Besides 70 dollars is a lot of money to be forking out. 20 not so much, but I don't want people to fork out cash if they don't want to.
