oh, that's a relief:no big bugs. the experrience to next level on the hero display sounds like a good idea to implement.

oh yeah, those too. but cds are cheaper for burning stuff: 50 discs for fourteen bucks, compared to 1-2 usb drives for the same price. for storage though: I admit USBs are far superior.

hold F8 while booting and try selecting the "repair your computer" option, if it's even there.
do you have a desktop? as long as they're both 32 bit or both 64 bit Windows 7 systems you can create a repair disk on the desktop and use it on the laptop, provided you a have blank disc too.
I'm guessing you already tried safe booting and using system restore?
