Hi thanks for trying to help but i will be honest i have NO idea how to get this program to work like it says i need soundfonts and there seems to be a ton of them i don't know if you know how this thing works if so maybe you could tell me what soundfont i will need and how to get it to work with everlong. If you can't i understand but if you could help that would rock.
Oh dear, sorry for not being clear! adding soundfonts isn't necessary, once you install it, it should just play the default soundfont on your computer. At least it should.If it isn't:
1) download this soundfont: CLICK HERE
2)open virtualMIDIsynth
3)click the soundfont tab and then the plus on the right
4)add the soundfont you just dwonloaded
5)make sure there is a check next to the box of the soundfont you just added
6)click the 'apply' then 'ok' boxes at the bottom of the virtualMIDIsynth folder
...and that should do it. the music should be playing for you now if all is well. you are running on windows right? I forgot to ask you about your OS...

as far as bugs are concerned, there have been zero so far, but I have found a couple of typos and a minor error. one is during the camp scene with azrael,sammy, and glen at the beginning:

rediculous --> ridiculous
and another during the scene when they are imprisoned by valiantide:

tortue --> torture
As for the error, in the tyr-anon north outpost, if you have an encounter on gravel/cobblestones tiles that run along the center of the first interior map, the battle will have a grassland battleback instead of a castle one.
EDIT: found another typo after samm, glen, and azreal are released from the valiantide prison:

women --> woman
EDIT2: you can't enter is what I presume to be the painter's house in Syrtis:
EDIT3: vetu dialog during the cirigon/unicon war is cut off:

EDIT4:I'm at a point in the game where you have the inceptum, but the gold chests that spawn while I'm hunting only give me 0-2 gp,mostly 0.

I also have another patch for LoB planned to fix lingering minor bugs and to make the Hard difficulty a little more exciting for people who want a challenge. A lot of work on it is done, I just haven't had time recently to finish it up and push it out. It was originally supposed to be done at 5000 downloads, and now we're over 6500... I feel pretty bad about that tbh. ;;
LoB: hardtype? I'm too much of a pansy to play hard mode, but I know a lot of FF fans who'll love that!

Will this kind of sucks i have no music for the game...Any ideas of how to fix this issue i know in the old game i had music...odd
Ok so forget what i just said about the old update having music for some reason that one does not also....:(
Hmmm... I didn't have this problem. Music is playing fine for me. Try downloading and installing this:
http://coolsoft.altervista.org/en/virtualmidisynth
That should fix any problems with the midi/music files not playing.
It should also be noted that some parts of the game don't have music,like most if not all of the intro. did music start playing music when you left the prison cell at the beginning?

Okay, I think I see what noel means.It kind of looks looks like the ATB gauge is part of the limit bar on first glance:
And if that's what he means, I'd have to agree with him on that. Perhaps splitting the bars with the word 'ATB' will make it less confusing.

Awesome! congratulations on finishing this DJC! I will definitely be making a second post on my first impressions.
EDIT: wow, I played a couple hours and WOW, it totally feels like a new game!. the battles are faster and are now challenging from the very start; the readjusted gold gains make you plan out what you're going to buy; the new cutscenes are pretty cool, the magic stat now feels like it actually does something, hunting is now a fun alternative to buying items. All this and the other little touches like the seemingly improved attack animations have got me fanboying so hard over this new version!. I stopped at herbtown right now, and can't wait until the new items,accessories, and content/features come into play. it was always a great game, but this new version has truly cemented everlong as an absolutely must play rpgmaker game.
