KITTEN2021'S PROFILE
It has been a very long time since I have been on this website or hosted any games on it. Last message I left was sometime back in 2011, so obviously I have been on a lengthy hiatus. I apologize, but I am aiming to begin fresh and new with nothing tying me down or back due to what I previously had so all my previous games have been deleted from the site.
I will leave nothing on this website, except for very small things - updates every great once in a blue moon, etc. - and make no promises to anyone.
Please refer to the game titled Eriscadia for any further information.

RPG Maker VX: Yun Sum Maker Series
author=murasame
From what I've heard from other forums it should be out today or tomorrow, someone said May 26th and the price should be under $30...as you said, bigger name expansions (like The Sims) sell around $25 so I can't see them asking much more than that in the US.
I'm pretty excited about this though! I made a pretty terrible effort a while back at making my own Japanese-themed sprites but in the end I gave up...I'm not really an artist.
Wow, they don't even have that posted on their FB page... Thanks murasame!
(Even if your not good at the spriting, don't give up, keep trying! You never know what would happen in the end.) :3

I wasn't trying to bring up an older discussion; my point was, I have already paid for something at around 60$... Why not make it lower? Its kind of like the Sims collection... I have paid for every single Sims 1,2 and now working on 3 out there; they sell expansions for $25, I am happy to pay this. Nearly $40 (and yes I know you said $35, but its still close to $40 for me), its kind of asking a lot isn't it?
Look, my point was, I've already paid, I'll gladly pay more money for extras, but I'd just prefer it at a discounted price compared to what their charging. Found them on Facebook, btw, and their actually bringing it to America relatively soon. They haven't released a price for it in America yet, I'm just hoping it isn't what their charging in Japan... >.<
Thanks for the replies, btw, guys. (Didn't mean for this to turn into an argument or anything, I was just stating an opinion... My apologies.)

If thats all it technically is, who would then pay 40$ for this??? Or, are they planning on releasing it with add ons to the engine as well? I can't tell...

Someone, please help me out here... I've already purchased RMVX, and I decided to check on the Enterbrain site to see if there was anything new out there for the maker and I stumbled across this beautiful page:

Please tell me someone knows how to get this in English? I want it so bad but I'm not willing to pay for it, get it, then be unable to read it or use it.

Thanks for the pros and cons! I'll definitely take your suggestions into mind. I'm glad you enjoyed the demo.
No problem, I just hope it helped. :)

Bare in mind, this is not a review... I just simply don't believe in ripping someone with out also giving them the praises they deserve.
Anyways, here we go!
------------------------------------------------------------
Mapping:
Pros: The mapping is very well laid out, I like it a lot. The forest area was nice, well done using the RTP set; for once, I've found a game where someone knows how to use it.
Cons: There were area's where there was shadows on the ground, but then also there were no shadows on the ground right next to these other areas (it made it look weird).

There were no shadows on the ground for the building shown above, but there was for the bush right next to it. This might need to be looked at unless this is something your working with atm.
I could walk on the Lilly-pads in the water... Is this on purpose?

Also, there were no doors... There was a doorway for a weapons merchant (I think is the building) and when I walked up to enter it, it told me it was locked. I found it hard to understand how it could be locked when there was no door in the entry to the building anyways.
(BTW, the Transfer Events for going from one map to another are set to Trigger: Action Button, please change these to Trigger: Player Touch. This immediately became the number one most annoying thing I came across in the game.)
Monster Battles:
Pros: Monsters wondered the maps freely and were easy to avoid if you wanted to; the battles were fast and well laid out. Great job on those!
Cons: The battles were fast. The monsters had very little health compared to the amount of power my level 1 heroes had; first strike from Caellach and he did 202 points of damage. For a level 1 hero, that's a rather large amount - at least it is to me. It took my heroes both just one (or two, depending on if the monster dodged) strike on the monsters and they died.
NPCs:
Pros: VERY happy with these, well done! I liked them a lot... The NPCs were mostly off on the side of the dirt path and were out of my way (with the exception of the kid and one other NPC, but that's still OK). The messages were good and simple, nothing wrong with it really. I didn't remember seeing any grammatical errors so that's great. Good Job here! :3
Cons: Again, nothing really to say here... Only one thing I ran across, and its not really necessary imo that you fix it, but, someone else out there might think you should.

This, again, was the only thing I could think of; very well wrote out and well done on all of them.
Story:
Pros: Well done in explaining right away what it was that needed to be done, I thought it was explained perfectly - no problems I found here. There was a sign that had postings from the towns for monster hunts; I liked this a lot! The King Slime was difficult, compared to the other monster battles I mentioned earlier, and the way that the quest worked when you turned it in was nice.
Cons: The explanation that the towns leader had gone missing was imo overly stated by the towns people; you might want to back that down just a tad.
Over all I didn't find anything else wrong with the game, it was all perfectly done. GREAT job so far! :)

Gritty. I'd love to know how to get effects like this. Is it mostly done to the tileset in photoshop, or is it all done in the editor?
I agree, I would love to understand how so many people are able to get this done... I think its just beautiful.
