This is one of the advanced levels with lots of game elements.
There is a tutorial stage included in the game explaining everything right from the start. It's not as complicated as it looks.

@slashphoenix:
Thanks. The shaders are Unitys standard Diffuse Shader and some Unlit and Specular Shaders for the spikes, nothing special. The bright colors are more the result of textures with high color saturation.
@kentona:
Thanks. There's still some work to do.
I think I'll need 4 more weeks to finish it. I'm still looking for some Betatesters, so if you're interested in giving it a try, I would contact you, when betatests start.

Some first pictures of my next release "Ankharia".
It's a small platform puzzle game made with Unity.
Planned release date is end of february, as I still need some time for finetuning and betatests.

Requests for Deckiller to review your game
Do you play RPGs only?
If not, I would like to suggest Nebulus.
It's a sidescrolling shooter and has no reviews yet.
It would be really helpful, as I am collecting all kind of comments and ideas at the moment for the development of the sequel.

Hey, thanks.
I'm really looking forward to this review, although your let's play already helped me a lot and had much influence on my work on the sequel.

Yes, the sequel is made with Unity 3D.
You can play a short demo here:

Unfortunately I am currently short of time ( new job and some stuff to take care of), that's why there are few updates lately. I hope to finish the second demo at the end of the year.

Well, basically it was. In the 2D version made with RPGMaker 2K I used Chao Sprites as main characters, but I will redesign them a bit, so they are no longer Sonic related.

Arguing with game logic is like arguing with religious people:
Don't try it! :)
Besides, underwater vulcanos do in fact exist and eruptions happen. There would be more smoke in the water than visible lave though, but that would ruin the gameplay.

I wanna make an mmorpg
author=MickyLee
I was thinking RMN was short for rpg maker in some form. I'm not really interested in how long it takes, time isn't an issue for me. It's something i've wanted to attempt. I downloaded unity3d and UDK but haven't really been able to fully understand either of them, especially UDK. Which is why I want to learn the basics through an newbie friendly software. I would really enjoy some people that are well capable in multiple fields of this to pass on knowledge and help out. My main issue isn't that I can't do things, I just need to know what does what.
Seriously, this is like you want to build a car on your own but don't know how a car engine works.
I'm using Unity3D for almost 2 years now and still scratching on the surface of possibilities. Yes, theoretically it can be used for making an MMORPG, to be precise for creating the world. You will need a server / client system as well. And if we're talking about a real M(assive)M(Multiplayer)ORPG, in which thousands of people are playing, then you will need to buy a server and it will cause a lot of traffic. You should be aware of that. Setting up a MMORPG is not only very time consuming, it will even cost you a lot of money to keep the server running for the people to play.
I know, it's often like that "Oh, a 3D software, now I'm gonna make a MMO", but believe me, you will discard that sooner or later.
If you don't even know the basics you should start with simple projects. This will be less frustrating.
