Might I suggest a game Kazukeri made that I did some work on, Dragoon Legends Part 1:

It has not had a single review yet. It was coded from scratch and features 100% original assets, including an original soundtrack. Not the best amateur game ever, but it is okay, The boss battle at the end is particular sweet.

Oh man the three priest party is tough but with the hero it's possible. Maybe you should make a version of the game that doesn't have the hero automatically selected? That would be epic.

The Four Priests of the Apocalypse! :D

I think the idea is that the hero is not only the best class, but he is also well-rounded. That way, no matter what your party is (3 priests for example), your hero can round out the party's deficiencies (in your case, the hero has strong attacks and attack magic).
