My wife was 11 weeks along before it was lost, years ago. And, more recently (this past summer), she had an ectopic pregnancy (outside of the womb) which ruptured one of her tubes and caused internal bleeding and the loss of that tube.

actually no, i wasn't trying to start a fight. I was simply just asking a question.
Okay man, sorry. I just saw words like "kick its ass" and like . . . I don't know. RMN really shouldn't be the place people go to so they can bitch about GW because it would be better if we acted like the same community.
Also, I think the new GW site is pretty slick! I also think the change in direction for the site is the very best compromise possible.

I've studied media (aparently the most useless subject) at college and I'm currently unemployed
Join the club man. That describes like half of the people at RMN!

RmXP: 1.2 million downloads; RmVX: 95,000 downloads

VX is still young though and XP has been out for like 4 years now hasn't it? I'm sure it will go up. I'm just wondering if AGM will match up to the downloads of XP when it comes out.
One of his points is that RMXP still gets more downloads per week.
Big Deal: Why are there so few game reviews?

I agree, fuck categories. Just write what you think about the game overall. I'm actually finding it easier to write a review without worrying too much on professional IGN/Gamespot-like structure.
You may notice sites like that *don't* micro-categorize like reviewers here do. They always have a single, uninterrupted monologue describing the game in whatever terms the critic pleases to. IGN reviews in particular tend to get a little too long though (10,000 words or something for GTA 4).

What do people think of the new GW6 and do you reckon RMN3 is gonna kick its ass?
We really, really don't appreciate this sort of comment! GW and RMN are not opposite sides of the track or anything - we are the same community. The leadership at both sites don't get along (in fact I think they are banned at each others' forums) but that doesn't mean we need to fight!

Umm... you have a project?
I posted something I was a team member on. It's no big deal and really shouldn't have made a big splash, but it had a reasonable amount of effort (resources etc) put into it and it was sad to see the virtue of the forum structure cause the game to get buried in a day or two.
Big Deal: Why are there so few game reviews?
We might also advocate brevity and succinctness in reviews? I think a lot of people think a review for a game has to be a big thing with tons of microcategories and analyses of graphics/story/sound/etc. Not only is that a lot of work to write, but it usually isn't worth reading thoroughly. In most cases you can say more with less. I think a lot of people prefer 500 words or less that can get the point across without taking a long time to read.
It is actually a big deal for me to admit this if any of you are familiar with the reviews I used to write at brandonabley.com :(
