Big Deal: Why are there so few game reviews?

Hey, I wrote a review to Legend of Shenja.

I bet you there is nobody on the site that would have ever reviewed it otherwise.

[Full/Complete Game] Dragon Fantasy II

So the RMNCast sucks and is never on time so I thought I should come clean!

This is actually like the best game ever. I love it. It is amazing. It feels like it was tailor-made just for me. I have been super thorough and have been taking my time and genuinely enjoying it. I know it is the most derivative thing ever (you get bonus points for not pretending) but I am really in love!

What I "do best" is actually MAKE a ton of games and also contribute more reviews and feedback for other people's games than just about anyone on the site. If that fact is not being appreciated, if in spite of that people think I'm just some kind of hype machine . . .

Dude, I said nothing about any of this. You're one of the best members here! I was just saying I suspect one of the problems you have with the site redesign is the priority it will place on new and active projects. You've made lots of great games, and it's great to see them finding new fans, but I don't think I'm the only one that feels cheated when our projects get buried under your legacy projects.

Personally, I'm pissy that the Featured Game isn't an RPG and is instead what would pass for a minigame in said genre... Although I'm sure it is a decent puzzler to have been made the Featured Game.

To be fair, game developers and consumers at RMN are involved with much more than Japanese-style RPGs.

Questions you always wanted to ask other members, but felt too lazy or awkward to do so.

Actually, Smirnoff vodka is still for girls. Get a decent brand!!

Ads?????

It is a little-known fact that RPGMaker.net is primarily funded by Holbert's wallet. When that fails, private donors inevitably step in.

IDEA: Public fund drives??

how about a chat

I think a chat function would be nice. IRC is like 30 years old, man. Have you been to Facebook or used XBox Live lately :(
