Try re-installing RGSS-RTP.

Nope, it didn't work. :(

After getting to the setup menu I clicked repair.. It did not work.

Thanks for trying to help me out anyway. :) I was afraid no one would.

What's your favorite fan-made comic?

Any comic will do just as long as you keep it on or about the videogames topic.

My favorite has to be The Gerudo Wars.

It's so well done. The author is clearly not afraid to go that far. There's rape and murder and violence everywhere, while a sinister plot unfolds involving the release of Majora.

Legend of Zelda: Eternity Seal

Thanks for the email Quiversee you helped me get it working. Good game so far, I like where its going.

RPG Maker XP issue 4 Vista

To start my laptop is a vista...

So I downloaded The legend of Zelda: Eternity seal and aside from an RGS-RTP standard error I got (which Quiversee helped me fix) the game worked perfectly.

I tried another game called The Legend of Zelda: Lost Sage

It's located here: http://www.sendspace.com/file/nmkv5t

After downloading the file, I tried playing it and it gave me an error window and said. "RGSS Player has stopped working"

So I downloaded the XP RPG maker, changed the compatibility to XP service pack 2, and I even run it as administrator, but the game still stops working almost as soon as the black window pops up. How can I fix this?

I do like the search words but about your not wanting an engine being showed, i think that should be kept not everyone has the RTP for all makers.

No no no, I didn't mean that, I meant in search terms people wouldn't necessarily need a filter on what engine the game was created with.

Advanced Search, Game Rated

Just a few changes I had in mind--

When you submit a game, you should be able to write a rating guide like ESRB. For games that are already out, whoever has submitted them should rate them. If a game goes beyond its rating the owner of the game should be warned, and the download link should be temporarily disabled until the owner fixes the problems with the game.

When you submit a game you should also be able to enter 5 search terms, so that whenever people make a game search, they'll find something to do with a game. For example; if I wanted to play a Mario game that had nothing to do with Mario in its title, I would be able to find it. When you search, you should also be able to check whether or not to filter the game by its status: show games in Production, Completion, Hiatus, Cancelled, Traditional RPGs, Action RPGs, other, Platformer, Puzzle, Sim, or Strategy. I doubt people are going to care about what engine is used, however, so it should not be a part of any search engine. You should also be able to search the forums for a specific topic. This is all to make it easier for people to find the game they want to play.

Also, the spell-check seems a bit faulty, it says 'cancelled' is not a real word.

What do you guys think..?

The Legend of Zelda: Zodiac Memories

A little time line knowledge should be said. In Ocarina of Time, 2 separate time lines were created, one had a Link, the other did not. All Links have been the descendants of former Links, with two exceptions, Wind Waker Link, and the first Link, (right now its assumed "The Picori Link" is the first one.)

--anyway, at the beginning of WW, its revealed that a prophecy said that Link would be capable of saving everyone before any permanent damage would be done to the world. But because of two time lines, he wasn't there because he had no descendants to fulfill the prophecy. Another boy proved himself worthy of the Master Sword, but he was not a blood born Link. He was however, able to seal Ganondorf into stone at the bottom of the sea.

In the alternate time line, Link had a child, and the prophecy was fulfilled, as was shown in Twilight Princess. This is the time line of the Zelda games.
